Solo Camping in a Rainstorm - Shelter in a Tent - Strong Winds - Camping Food , Barbecue - ASMR

Hello friends, we are together again.
In this section, I camped on the edge of a dam that is 47 km long.
It was cloudy when I got to the venue. Then I set up a tent for protection. As we set up the tent, the sky darkened, and then a very strong wind followed, followed by heavy rain.
I ate something aperitif in the tent at first, then I had a barbecue. very relaxing that night. It's getting cold at night, I'm sleeping soundly.
The view is beautiful in the morning and the air is very fresh.
I usually relax by drinking tea.
very pleasant experience! I refreshed my spirit and returned home happy!

The way the winds blowing and rain pouring down, you should have cast a line! It would have landed in the ocean and you would have had tuna for supper. I really enjoy your adventures in these wild and beautiful spots you camp in. Eish...that thunder ⛈! There's no way I'd be brave enough to move out of the tent. I live in Texas in the United States and in much of the southwest there is record hot temperatures and record-breaking drought. Then 2 years ago in the winter a record-breaking freeze. I am moving soon to Arizona, a hot desert state that also has tall volcanic mountains and snow!

@@trwilderness it is very beautiful where you camp. Where i live (US- southern California) the weather is sub-tropical but we have very little rain. When i start to feel anxious about world events i write down 10 things I'm very grateful for. And they must be different on different days. I look for things to appreciate and admire and smile at people when im in line or passing by. This always uplifts my spirit and reminds me not to dwell on the sad things in life. There will always be places to camp my friend. Always🙂

This tent is so wrong for the conditions. It is acting like a sail with the wind. You need a tent that has a very low profile so that the wind and rain scuds off the tent. The tent should also have an inbuilt base to stop the rain soaking your floor. Anyway, good luck.
