Thanks man! Yeah it was a bit of a dance filming in the rain, but overall very happy with the new setup

At the beginning of the video, the bridge reminded me of the movie Rambo 1
@Austin_SaintOnge8 ай бұрын
Yes! You’re absolutely right I didn’t even think about that until you mentioned it! I love Rambo, especially the first one. It was filmed up in this area of the Pacific Northwest.

Rambo 1 is a top movie, the others are not as good as the unit. Even the gravel base on the road looks like something from a movie.

@TLC-HDJ80 agreed! Best Rambo for sure

I forget something every time I camp too 😉 Remember the Fosters Lager soup pan? 😂
@Austin_SaintOnge8 ай бұрын
lol I actually don’t remember that one but I could see it happening

I’ve definitely forgotten to pop the tent before the awning on my 80 series on several occasions. 😂
@Austin_SaintOnge8 ай бұрын
lol, barely was able to get it!

@@Austin_SaintOnge also you can sometimes install those spring rods from inside the tent, just don’t lean out too far and fall onto the open awning. It definitely won’t support your weight. Lol

@@kleinbiker1 yeah that’s how I got them put up… and almost did fall out 😂

This 80 gets used more than your Cummins one !
@Austin_SaintOnge8 ай бұрын
lol it actually does! Large part of that is having moved to Idaho and campsites like this are only 30-45 minutes away
@TLC-HDJ808 ай бұрын
The road to the camp was super action-packed. Your chassis is stock, right?
@Austin_SaintOnge8 ай бұрын
Yeah it was a bit of a thrill ride! Yup! Stock suspension, no lift

The best car is in stock condition, I have a hdj80 with a 2" lift and 315/75r16 wheels, and it's not good. You climb up high into the cabin, then jump off when you get out. It leans when cornering. The brakes have something to do to slow it down. It's 2530 kg against the 2240 series. kg. Engine power not much and consumption instead of 10 l is 16 l/100 km. just to make it happen once in a while, that is, 1% of the 100 trips that I actually use it, it was raised l. Those mud terrain tires I hear the noise 98% drives and completely useless. Leave it in the series then it's the best car.

@TLC-HDJ80 yeah I agree, I had a 6 inch lift on my last 80 series and while it looked cool, it was scary as hell on steep off camber trails with ledges. I might add some 30mm spacers on top of the coils as I load it down with weight but that’s about it
