I am going to visit Japan in March of 2024, and will likely purchase a Mt. Sumi wood stove while I am there! 🙂 Thank you for reviewing the Aura stove. When brewing coffee, if you pour a little water over the empty filter and discard the water before you put the coffee grounds into the filter, you will get a better cup of coffee. Most coffee shops here in Georgia, USA, do this for their pour-over coffee brewing. Please keep making videos, they are wonderful!

I am always impressed how well your van goes in the snow. It does not seem to get stuck in the snow! Very nice, I guess it is 4 wheel drive? At 16:13 it looks like a Kanetsugu knife. Japanese cutlery is the best in the world. 😊

So I have always wondered what the temperature is like when you have the woodstove going and all of your windows and doors are open. I believe you’re doing that for filming purposes, but I just wonder if you were warm enough. Love your channel great video, and I completely copy so much of your recipes when I can figure them out. I did a Japanese noodle stirfry with turnips peas and scallions with spam while I was on the road a couple days ago. Little soy and some sugar it was amazing. Thanks for the awesome content.
