Ditto the advice on not surrounding your fire with rocks from a river or lake bed. I learned that the hard way years ago when a rock exploded. I know you are dedicated to leaving no trace. That would be pretty difficult to do if a rock was to explode and splatter your guts and brains all over your campsite. It would also be a disservice to me and others who enjoy vicariously exploring the great outdoors through your videos (not to mention a shocking sight to behold).

@@EzeAdventurer I was going to get one a while back because it went flat, but it was a chunk of money to take a punt on it and not be able to sleep on my side. Nice one mate. @EzeAdventurer2 жыл бұрын
@@foresteroutdoors haha - yeah so getting out is easy enough, it takes a bit of practise, the key is setting your bum back further than you think. The one thing I don't like too much is when I need to unzip the mosquito net, you kind of have to lean forward, and that puts your centre of mass way forward and kind of tilts you quite a bit if you know what I mean. Re zipping it back up creates the same dynamic. IT's not a huge deal for me but something to be aware of. All the best bud!

Thanks for posting - I live in Scotland and you're doing what I have been dreaming of! As for fishing, I know you don't need a licence for Scotland. Do you have to do anything in particular for each body of water you fish at? Anyone's permission you need etc.? This is the biggest thing I'm unsure of when it comes to wild camping!
@EzeAdventurer2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate you need to check Google for each body of water 👍 Glad you’re liking the video and hope it inspires you to get out there and experience the beautiful nature for yourself 👊
@noblestsavage1742 Жыл бұрын
Technically you need written permission off the owner. In practice though it can be hard to find them, crack on and if worse comes to the worse they’ll just ask you to stop. You can then just move to another loch as there’s always more just around the corner.
@noblestsavage1742 Жыл бұрын
Ps, you could always camp at the coast no permission is required for sea fishing.,
