What a great spot mate! Glad you enjoyed your dog food 😂😂 there is nothing better than just chilling in your tent watching a movie when it's freezing cold and windy outside. Have you ever tried adding an emergency silver blanket to your tent floor before putting your sleeping pad in? It sure was a perfect spot mate :-) Well worth some risk taking! Agreed, I could stay there for weeks if it was just up to me. No matter what kind of weather. I have done things like that in the past just to get away. Some 15 years ago I had my own team of sleddogs and used go up north for weeks with just enough gear and food to get by. Miss it sometimes but things change... Nope, never used a silver blanket in that way but I do have one somewhere so I will bring it for my next overnighter. Thanks for the tip! Sure is mate. I do enjoy new stuff but tend to fall back to my old trusted gear in the end. I was happy with the stuff I brought this time though and will be bringing it for my next adventure to :-)
