I’m glad there is no more separate attack stamina, so you can fight him for a while as long as you can maintain proper stamina with a dodge and block combo. Very helpful now that blocking does not consume stamina.

The strat: dodge him, juke him until the dodge is up ( how to juke, stay close to him so he doesn’t hook or stab and instead he does the down wards attack and you just need to move to the side) but when he’s stunned back off enough so he doesn’t heavy but misses a stab. After dodging or juking, hit him in the back. Once dodge is back up block him to get a free hit and reapeat

if im being honest, and ill probably get hate for saying this, im not satisfied with the games current state, im really not. Seems like they're trying to make survival as tedious as possible, and are trying to discourage people to fight chain, i get its a horror game but if they want people to treat survival like ACTUAL survival. Then the gamemode becomes another "run from big scary monster". Considering that for every buff they give towards players, whether it be items or mechanics, they give like 4 nerfs. They buffed machete but now dodging is nerfed, stamina is nerfed, chain blocks swings now, and can block AND dodge gunshots. Granted its not rng and it does work on a system, but still, you use stamina for parrying chain, so 1 swing counts as 2 swings. Not saying players should be able to solo chain but i think its just becoming tedious to even try to get all the materials. Considering that not everybody has the time to pump out countless hours into the game, whether its having a job or just other things to do. I wish the game the best, but im probably gonna head out EDIT: idk why i made this comment on this video in particular, just felt the need to put my thoughts out EDIT 2: And its also because many fans of the game lack sympathy/empathy towards each other, and anyone who dares criticize the game gets shat on for it, terrible community IMO, reminds me of the dark souls community.
