Honestly I've been avoiding Islander because of the rampant rulebreakers and the mods/admins that don't really do anything about it. I'm a lead admin for a PvP server called OnlyDinos and our staff team are very active on catching and punishing rulebreakers as soon as possible. That's why Islander's staff infuriates me so much. They can be online, should have the ability to spectate fights or go to someone who's calling out a rulebreaker but they just...don't??? They will police the ever living hell out of the global chat though. You're not allowed to so much as casually banter with someone without an admin threatening to strike you for it. I've asked them why they aren't more proactive when it comes to doing staff duties and punishing rulebreakers and they told me that we are required to bring video evidence of a rulebreak occuring, _even if they witness the whole thing._ I just don't get what it is that these people do. Honestly they are just glorified normal players with fancy text colors. And before people say that they're understaffed, I help run _2_ servers that are almost always at full capacity at the same time while also being understaffed. I think these people are either aren't being given the ability to be proactive mods and admins by Islander or they just outright refuse to be proactive and protect their playerbase. The fact that you were being repeatedly attacked by a blatant hacker and an admin saw that the rex kept rulebreaking and instigating fights and still decided to ban you for defending yourself is absolutely appalling

Yeah basically if you don't record, a lot of server admins don't give af. I don't know why so many servers are like this. Insta ban for "toxicity" in chat, but fail to police their own servers unless it happens directly to them and their friends.

Some servers stats modding is really messed up,I remember at release ptrex was able to facetank deino and og rex as long that you land one charged bite at the start,days ago tried to 1v1 a carch and couldn't even put a single scar on them in a facetank fight even tho I had deep rumble activated and landed a charged bite,I asked about it players said that ptrex is free food, but then tried it in a friend server and he can still get og trex down to like 25%,Yes carch is strong but it is a trex lol it shouldn't be that weak especially not at facetanking

@@templarotter9843 sauropods got nerfed heavily,I doubt an amarga can do that,two trexes can take down an Argen if played right,just gotta watch out of the tail and the very delayed one shot stomp but definitely manageable,a while ago it required at least 4 apexes,yet when the game first came out they wanted it to be a bit "realistic" yet a sarco has less health than a dilo and can grab an ano, doesn't make much sense to me tbh lol

Honestly, as many rules as he broke in the process of defending himself I don't know why anyone is surprised. You can defend yourself from a rulebreaker, but being toxic and breaking a host of other rules (3rd party, spam calling, location dropping) in the process is not just defending yourself.

Amarga main on official here. Bone break dasps are easily the scariest 3 slotters to face as Amarga, since Stomp is a great way to punish opponents when they manage to dodge the tail or in case of daps try to come in for a heavy bite, if your bone broken you can't use stomp, so dasp with bone break is scary in that sense. Also if you manage to catch a small fast little bastard or a pycno with the bone break it becomes an easy win for the dasp.

Btw if you didnt know heavy bites hitbox goes ALL THE WAY THROUGH the animation, or at least almost. Ive used heavy bite way too early on enemies and it could still hit, kinda like how people double bite in the isle, kinda hope they fix it lol especially without the cooldowns in the ptb that could be abused heavily

My wife and I were fighting a wrecks I was a she was a Chillo and the Rex went and got up on a rock that we couldn't get on to well that I couldn't and safe logged then came back as Alberta and we kill them and it was you know ggs all that good stuff on our end (we're not toxic at all none of that ez L bullshit) so he comes back and I asked him if we're good he said yeah acting all friendly and everything there's 3 bertas, 2 patchies, an alio and 2 megs that were fighting 2 kentros, the kentros were cool so we helped them, they ended up killing one of the kentros and the other one got out then they turn on us all of them well my wife got stuck up against a rock so she was done pretty quick I attempted to fight I knew I wasn't going to win I had forgotten all about the megs so in a ditch last effort I ran into the water and attempted to drown so I didn't take a hit on my XP bar as much well the mega showed up and killed me in the water of course and nothing I can do and then they have the gall to gloat about easy- you're stupid for running in the water we have mags your trash take the L it was the bird I killed before who then said we were chill and then invited 10 people to kill two dasps and were the bad ones, now keep in mind my wife is a good player but she's not really versed on dasp that much and I'm better than her but I'm far from being a great player on dasp I really wish Discord didn't exist because then all these losers would have trouble getting a giant mix pack to kill other people but I will say the Chillo is a BEAST, we had so many trophies in one spot we didn't know what to do with them we probably had like six trophies literally in one little area cuz everybody kept trying to mess with us you should grow them

That hacking Rex reminds me of this one time I was playing islander, there was 3 deinosuchus in crater pond ( one adult, 2 subs )) and they kept killing everything, they stole from bodies without contesting, they would kill again after finishing a body, they would kill people and not even eat the body, they even killed my friend when we were on ano, they killed my friend and after their body dropped they tried killing me, and since I was bone broken I almost died and t-bagged every person they killed, so everybody realized they were trying to kos, so a spino territory them out of the pond, the deinos didn’t 4 call, so the spino managed to kill one of the sub deinos, but since the deinosuchus were already rule breaking, the adult deino killed the Spino, but then another Spino challenged them for the body and they 4 called and left the pond, but since they were rule breaking, everybody was trying to kill them including the herbivores. So they crawled to white cliffs and went into a cave, then me and a Rex were trying to kill them, we managed to kill the adult Deino, then I crawled into the cave and almost killed the sub but they logged. After this I never logged back onto islander because I have no idea if I got banned for killing a rule breaking or if they got banned for kossing. I stopped playing islander, it was too laggy anyway and moved to arazoa servers.

I'm not familiar with Islander's (I think that's the server?) rules but you were probably banned for getting others to join in to kill the rber, that's a pretty common rule I see on most realism servers to not rulebreak to kill a rulebreaker and instead just record what happened and report it. It makes it harder to know what's going on for staff if it's everyone in the POI attacking someone and is harder to break it up. At least that how I understand it. Plus the guy's hacking so ofc he's gonna keep coming back over and over, it's kinda pointless to fight him each time. I don't think it deserved a ban tho, just a warning. Admins could have easily just dragged you away from the guy. Dunno why they didn't. :/

I play on isla nycta, it has very fair rules which aren't stifling and mods which aren't super crazy. The server population is always high like islander as well, but it's a little easier to get in, which is why I chose it over islander's server. Herbies can't mixpack but small ones can use large ones as a meat shield. Carnivores can 3rd party hunts but the 3rd partier has to attack both sides. You don't have to stay with bodies but you can't hunt in the area until the body is gone, and you lose protection if you wander away from it. Other than that, I believe the rules are similar to islander's.

For a normal semi-realism server I'd recommend Auranea #1, however do be aware that on there, there's no body contest as to not allow players to just instantly take you precious kill that you've fought for, and to incetivise hunting, especially for big and slow apexes. The admins aren't on most of the time, but if you send them a recording or they witness the rulebreak, they will act on it 100%. They do promote not rulebreaking in response to a rulebreak, like islander, but they won't necesserally ban you for it, so long as you have conctere proof that you were not the one who started it. Besides, if on islander, you're not allowed to "rulebreak" in response to a rulebreak, if you get targeted then wtf are you supposed to do?? Just take the hits and die or smth bc you are not allowed defend yourself bc that would be a rulebreak??? And what about all the other players who helped you? Did they get banned too for 3rd partying and targeting? Cuz if not, then you were treated unfairly, big time.

I play official to avoid altered stats or many rules. I wish there were some rules though because the most toxic place in this game is official. From Mega-packs roaming the map and 10v1ing to people camping around baby spawn hotspots. Even WSs and HCs are camped like crazy. Don't get me started on the toxic dogpiling in general chat.

A good server is Pan-Realism, everyone there is really nice and we have nice mods

No offense but bro from my experience in that server don't play in islander the admins are r etarded,I remember I was fighting yangs as a bars,then two pt rexes jumped me ,I asked an admin to come he came as a para,he watched them rb and didn't do sh1t, very fair right :),a passive growth server should be strict about rules it is not ok to lose that progress cause some people don't know how to play the damn game

As an admin on a community server, I don't get how an admin would be OK banning a player for fighting a player that was cheating. Some people just have no sense to let things slide when they should.

Islander is not a good server I got banned for a similar reason and do you know it was the best thing that ever happened to me because I found Mesozoic era realism it is a really fun server with great staff and a really good ticket system go check it out also fire video the end got me fuming cause it reminds me what they did to me

I got a 19 day ban from HELLSREALM because I teleported while a quetz(admin) tried to kill me then got mad and gave me a so called "warning" I didn't even do it on purpose cuz I didn't see them coming and this has happened twice so I had enough and called them out and so that quetz found me in an obscure spot and killed me lmao and the second time I ran when I wasn't in combat and t-p'ed then I get a warning and got muted(they seem to do it to avoid shit and be lazy) that server is trash

Admin are so dumb sometimes its crazy.. Try Crimson server its semiRP with simple rules and mods are pretty cool most of the time.

Islander has some garbage admins. Islander's community (the actual, dedicated, discord community), and Islander himself are really nice, but I haven't encountered more toxicity on a semi-realism than on Islander. I only play realism because I want to avoid the absolutely toxic community of officials, and because I prefer the chill-ish semi-realisic rp aspect of those servers (and because they don't usually have half-baked/over-the-top/overpowered fantasy creatures). I expected to find a good community in-game going into it, but I've been revenge killed and KoS'd so many times it's annoying. And the mods don't even care. I'd suggest Auranea #1, Nat Hist, or Mesozoic if you're looking for good semi-realism servers with pretty decent communities.

That Rex was a clown. Not really any good servers that don't play favorites or make up bs to not deal with a issue at some point. You def don't deserve a ban. Hard to get a server to behave a certain way when there is no direction to the game besides pvp. Kinda encourages chaos with not much rewards. Hard to fault the players. That's why I just hop server to server cause they all got drama. Fuck dem bans
