Love all of your videos, but loving this little series especially. I'm a NZer living in Hyogo for 15+ years. Built my own little DIY camper and go camping almost weekly here in Japan, but have never camped in NZ so it's fascinating to see what it's like to camp there. On my next trip home I might have to rent a van like you did!

When you were in NZ last time as a student, most likely you were busy studying and a little wandering around the city you were at. Now with more time it’s nice to explore and have some new experiences to share.
Next time go to the south island its very different from the north island

Great video and scenery Umiko. In the past I travelled from Australia to NZ on business quite often. I haven't been for a long time so next year I hope to do a road trip in NZ and hire a camper van like you.

Hello Umiko, the long tail bird you saw is called a Fantail. They are native to New Zealand and often fly around trampers as when they walk in the bush they disturb the insects which the Fantails feed on. I hope you had a really good holiday and enjoyed New Zealand. Cheers, Ross 😎
Hello from American living in Brazil. I enjoyed these videos as I would love to see NZ in this way. You provided alot of great information. I especially love to see how you cook and the ingredients you use. ONE QUESTION- How long did it take to learn about the Van? Muito Obrigado! PS - New Fan!
