SOLO Florida Travel Day Vlog | LGW to MCO British Airways Club World

My first ever SOLO Florida Travel Day & things do NOT go to plan but I was just so excited to be heading to Florida! This was a very last minute trip, I booked it 6 days before departure using air miles and staying with a friend. I'll be heading to both Walt Disney World and Universal so there are plenty of park vlogs coming your way!

Done one to Paris before. Was a bit out of my comfort zone but after a while to a certain extent you forget you're on your own and it becomes much like any other solo holiday you'd go on. 🙂

I’m doing a solo trip to Orlando from August 27th - September 24th - can’t wait. Would never traipse all that way to get on three rides. I was really disappointed with crowd levels last September. Just couldn’t get over how ‘busy’ it was. The only quiet parks really were AK and BG, Tampa. Hopefully now that borders are reopened that pent-up demand for travel will have tapered off. Keeping my fingers crossed for 2019 pre pandemic crowd levels! 🎉 Btw what happens with MK is that on party nites the day crowds are super low which then unfortunately pushes the other non party day crowds over average as more people would be attending on a night where the park doesn’t shut at 6pm.

Oooh wow that’s a lovely long trip! I’m really hoping it’s quiet then too as I’ll be there during that time with my family! I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed too.. Ye that’s it there was a huge difference between the party mornings and non party mornings and like you said then the evenings are disproportionately busy when there is no party - makes it hard to see the fireworks! My daughter is crew for BA. She was on a Chicago that day with the thunderstorm and they had a 3 or 4 hour delay.

Ye there was a LOT of chaos that day! It's usually on the return journey we get stuck with storms! I was so well looked after by the crew, bless them it can't be easy having those big delays on the longer journeys.

Have you ever tried flying into Orlando with Aer Lingus!!! I have heard a lot of good things from people who have gone with the Irish airline!!! 🤔

Yes I have, it's always been a decent flight, food can be hit or miss but otherwise no complaints!

I loved it! I think Disney is the perfect place for a solo trip and never felt lonely at all.. I obviously had my friend that I was staying with so that made a difference but I’d be very comfortable doing a fully solo trip
