Indie games and titles developed by just a single person are on the rise and the technical hurdles are getting lower and lower.
As a solo Game Developer, you have to take over many
different roles... Which brings us to Programming and Coding.
Don't be afraid of Programming.

Thank you! So many people hate both Unreal Engine and Godot because they might have to program since the community won't do it for you (even though it isn't difficult at all). But at that point, you are making an asset flip. I am an idiot. Yet I can use Unreal and am starting to learn Godot. If I can do it, so can anyone else. Programming is fun. If you want to make games, learn to love programming. No matter the language.

Yeah! Godot is a nice open source engine, capable of different languages. What are you doing with Godot? Any experience how easy it is to learn?

@@suricoon I have just started learning Godot. I have 12 years of unity experience and only hobbyist unreal experience. I use both C++ and C# professionally. With Godot, I am making a 2D card game prototype, mainly using C# for now. If that goes well, will probably start diving into the engine code and the 3D side of things. So far, is really easy to learn. There is a lot of good documentation and tutorials, and a more active community than I thought.
