Glamping done right in the Ozark Trail 15x15 Bell Tent | Beautiful Sunset |Janes Island MD| Site #18

Rainy camp with the Ozark Trail Bell tent and it did not disappoint. Easy set up, very spacious, no leakage or condensation. Not bad for $149. I have quite a few tents and I would have to say this one is may favorite!!
I used an Intex queen mattress with a headboard. It did not fit to the back wall of the tent which left alot of room behind the bed for storage. So I have all kinds of stuff tucked away behind it.
Janes Island is a beautiful Pine forest and the best sites on loop B are #17, #18 and #19. My camping pad was #18 with a nice amount of privacy between my two neighbors, tucked away from the road with the bathhouse in close proximity. And the camp store sold many camping items in case your forget something. All items linked below and I hope you enjoyed watching.

@SheilaDuzan Hi Sheila! I think you will certainly enjoy it. I would recommend getting a tarp just in case it rains because Ozark Trail tents in my opinion do not fair well in heavy rain & its kinda of thin so you can see someone's silhouette at night when the lights are on. If it's light drizzle you will be ok. I love this tent and it was a breeze setting up.

@anthonyahern2335 Hey Anthony! This is a queen mattress with a headboard. You will love this tent. Just put a tarp over it if you do any rain camping.

@alexlautenschlager3465 It’s a very nice tent I must say especially for $149. It held up well although there was only light rain that lasted for about 6hrs but no leakage. Set up & takedown was super easy & quick. I know online sold out at one time but looks like they are restocked so I would hurry & get it before everyone else discovers it or Walmart increases the price. I’ve seen other OT tents that some people purchased dirt cheap & the price went up.

Not hard at all. Probably easier and quicker than setting up an instant tent.All. you have is the one center pole and the door frame, stake it to pull the walls out to form the tent and thats it. You should definitely get this tent.😊

@taylohering3856 I absolutely love this tent but with a owning a couple OZ tents, they 're definitely not water proof neither water resistant and do not hold up well in heavy rain. Once they get saturated, it's a done deal. So if you purchased this tent you will absolutely enjoy it in good weather and even in light rain but I would use some type of tarp over it if you know it's going to be a rainy day. I treated this tent before taking it out and may be the reason why I didn't have any issues. I used waterproof spray and I sealed the seams.

@@machwoods7122 It definitely fits a queen as shown in the video but with a headboard. The next time I use this tent I'll be using a queen without one because it made it very awkward but still worked good.

@jacobdugan8228 You basically stake the tent down, run the center pole up and then go around and stake your guy lines out so that it forms the tent shape.

@@jacobdugan8228 LOL yeah if you put the pole first it want have that support to hold it in place. So by staking the body of the tent down, this will keep the tent from moving and will hold the center pole in place. Once you do that I would put the door frame in then go around and do your guy lines last.

@JaimeBarboza88 Thank you! I had a small heater which heated up the tent quite nicely so I say as long as the temperature at night is at least I'd say 58 and you have a heater you should be fine..
