This is some seriously tight execution, even when compared to other solo plat GM speedruns. There's only a handle of easily identifiable blunders, all of which were very minimal (a couple of geometry stumbles causing ~1-2s slowdowns, less than a handleful of missed melee executions, the double Light-Knight kill near the end). Hats off to you, seriously

The skill gap in the run is insane. That grapple-to-one-two punch combo is so difficult to pull off consistently using a controller. (I’m on Xbox). GGs for this one. I’m impressed about your knowledge of all the add spawns in the boss room.

It’s not hard tho. All u have to do is when grapple to an enemy cancel the grapple shot shotgun and melee. I’m suing a controller and it’s not hard to be honest. If you cancel the grapple near the enemy the u won’t have time to shotgun it. Cancel you grapple before getting close to the enemy just a little of practice and you’ll get it .

I play on console. If I may offer a tip. Grapple as high as you can, then when you're near the target, jump to release the grapple, or re-grapple. Straffe jump if needed for more distance, then one -two punch and melle. Try in in a private mayhem match to get the hang of it

Everyone . Yes he makes it look easy but that’s because he is skillful. If u want to try that build I suggest you practice in lower difficulty like start from hero and work you way up when u feel confident with the build . That’s how every build works get to know how to work it

Cancel your grapple when you're still far away from the enemy. That way you'll have plenty of time to pull out your shotgun, make sure you land all pellets and then melee immediately. It's hard to pull off but if you practice it enough you'll get it consistently.

​@@cangooz2240yeah, like I fully recognize this is one of the most broken builds we've had in d2's lifetime (it's up there with the worm god caress+synthoceps swap throwing hammer, but excluding the multi-hit bug(?) that could one shot raid bosses), but it requires some actual execution to pull off, especially in solo content. Like I definitely can't solo a GM with this build, and I guarantee most of the d2 population also cannot.

As much as it is pushing the melee fantasy at it's peak this build needs to be heavily nerfed. A melee should never do more damage than your heavy it defeats the purpose.
