Solo Hike to Franklin Peaks (first known summit in 27 years)

Going on a 12km hike and climb to a remote mountain deep in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia. The last recorded summit (and first recorded ascent) was that by Rick Collier in 1997, of which I found the remains of his cairn on the eastern peak. Well done. I'm much impressed by the camera work, editing, the scenery and, of course, the feat. It must have felt truly satisfying to reach the summit, just you and your companion. In silence...wonderful!!
