Hello, how difficult is it to find budget long term appartments to rent for winter?
@JabberKiwi Жыл бұрын
@@wilhelmsvideon9206 Hi, it is not easy to find (cheap) apartments lately. If you don't want to pay the "tourist" prices you need to rent for 6 months minimum. And you can't be sure to find something when you arrive here. Cheap hostels/pensions cost about €25 - €35 per night, shared bathrooms.

Wow, great doc you made there. Very nice shots and angles. I walked there 10 years ago (only 60km) and recognize many spots, There is one place, (I can't remember the location), it was so strange, the environment changed from hot dessert with cacti, into damp misty forrest in about zero meters. It was so so strange. You were walking into a different world instantly. It was a wonderful trip. and I can see you had a wonderful trip as well. Thanks for sharing.

Great video thanks. Friday I'll go hiking on La Gomera as well. A question, which part of the island you would consider more beautiful, the north or south?

I'm so envious. I love hiking but have an absolute fear or paranoia about solo camping. I really dont know how to overcome it. Thinking someone will attack me. I'm missing out on such adventures. 😢 Thank you for a wonderful video 🙏
@LennartSchoors8 ай бұрын
Wow, that's a pretty wild scenario. That pretty much never happened, ever, but that's the thing with fears of course - they're irrational. It still happens that my heart gets racing when I hear strange sounds at night, but every single time, all is well, and I get back to sleep. Start small, with friends, or in a garden, and build up from there!
@stevewithers53178 ай бұрын
@@LennartSchoors Hey, thanks for the reply and thoughts. Yes, definitely irrational. I don't think there's an easy option other than to face my fears. The video was great. Well filmed and very informative, plus your additional gear etc video. I'll check out your other stuff too. I'll let you know if I conquer my fear! All the best. Steve
