Solo hiking around Öschinensee in the Bernese highlands

In the Bernese highlands, near the village Kandersteg, there's a magical lake, one of Switzerland's most beautiful ones, the Öschinensee. I'm gonna hike in this region and gonna show you the best spots around as well as some hidden gems. It's in total, quite a strenuous hike though for 2 days!

THANKS for such great content. One question is how to reach the beautiful peak you have reached the top?? is there any given trail I can follow ??

Hey Soumi, thanks a lot for your comment :) so I'm not sure which one you mean. First hike I did (on the Öschinen lake) was the circle trek, if you want to reach that point (where I took my thumbnail) you need to take the trek to the Fründenschnur. Just before the tricky part (where you nornally need some special gear) you get to this beautiful viewingpoint. So just follow the sign to the Fründenschnur and before getting to that sketchy psrt is that point. Hope I could help you!

Ah I see. Ok, thats when you take the way to Oberbergli. There are 2 ways, one more down to the lake and the other one more above. I did both as a round-trip and got to that viewing point on the way back. Just go to Oberbergli and then the other way back
