Vielen Dank! Ich bin mir auch sicher, daß dies die richtige Entscheidung war :-) Übrigens hatte ich Altras an, hatte aber meine Wanderschuhe zur Sicherheit auch eingepackt nachdem die Unwetter eben auch Schnee auf den Bergen gebracht hatten. Habe diese dann zusammen mit Microspikes am Weg zum Piz Boe auch sehr zu schätzen gewußt, wechselte dann aber wieder zu den Altras :-)

Is there a phone app that you would recommend for navigating the Alta Via 2?

I don't know a specific app but what I can recommend is the Cicerone Guide book that gives you also access to gpx files that you can download to any navigation app/device (Gaia, Garmin, Suunto,...).

thank you very much. In regard to the hum, if you mean the wind noise by this, it is what is is if you're up in the mountains, if you mean the background music, yeah, that's my choice :-)
