Sorry to break your heart but its not the world largest slum, the definition of slum doesn't fit for dharavi i feel the people are not poor in the area nether there is water or electricity problem there, also people have well educated with proper job. But there may be sanitary problem due to garbage and open sewage

To the foreigners :- India has 28 states and 8 union Territories . South india is more developed when compared with north India. Most of the foreign tourist visit mumbai or delhi which is one of the worst place to visit. The southern part nd north east part is really beautiful. Each state has it own culture and uniqueness. Please dont have a false impression and do your research before you come to conclusion.

About north and south india....every state and every part of india brings there own culture in front of them....Mumbai is very famous city...you won't get everytime good people everywhere ...so dont differentiate based on state and area , its completely based on the people behaviour.

Over a number of years as a competative road cyclist I was based in Overijse, Zomergem, Ghent, Louven & Tervuren...& raced all over Belgium, the Netherlands & France. Great memories though I struggled with the Flemish language. I was more apt at French. It was many years ago & at that time English wasn't openly spoken by the Flemish or French speakers. These days English has become much more known & spoken throughout Europe & the world. Your English is very good. I'm enjoying your travels.
