Bitta fishn on display mate, loved it, I’ve been finding 4-5 short pops and winds with the squidtrex really fires them up, did pretty well on some jumbo grassies the other day.

Thanks dude. I threw it around again this arv on my way back from a dive & took you up on your advice. 6 fish in 10-15 mins, works! No size though 😅

Another awesome video, well done mate, you’ve got the format absolutely nailed - so good to watch👌🏼 that cook up was a proper feast - love sprouts and broccoli in the pan and that sauce... 🔥 Can’t wait for the next one! What’s the Garmin? I’ve just ordered a UHD2 75CV, I’ve never used one but I’m sure it will be decent.
@danyoungy11 ай бұрын
Thanks for being here man. Honestly was a simple cookup but one of my favs I’ve done camping in awhile. I’ve got the exact one you’ve ordered. I’ve only used it a couple times and it’s been great.

@@danyoungy good to hear about the Garmin, I've never had a 'proper' boat before so it's all new to me, I've spent the last 15 years shore diving and had a couple of small inflatables - I live 3+ hours from the coast so have never been able to justify the cost before now, super stoked for it! Which transducer did you get? The GT20 or GT24 - I was planning on getting the GT24, a bit more expensive but apparently better clarity? I'm 100% stealing the recipe for when the summer arrives. Looked epic. Again, thank you for making videos like this, honestly, they're exceptionally good.

@@BR0SE1DON That’s exciting mate, let me know how you ya first boat adventures go. Will you be making vids of the trips? I’m not to sure about the transducer I have…

I was actually surprised they weren’t bad at all once it was dark. That southerly wind blowing straight into camp really helped

Hey Dan 🤙love your vids . Can I ask why you don’t clip your plastic clips on your swag poles? It will make so much more room in there for you . Anyway s hope to catch you on the wAter one day . Keep it up legend 🤙
@danyoungy11 ай бұрын
With the original set of poles I had , I always clipped them in but I had some of them snap & I’ve got heavy duty replacement poles now.. they bend out quite a lot and it’s really hard to clip them all on. I sometimes clip a couple on. Maybe I’m doing something wrong 😂 hasn’t really worried me though. Appreciate you watching man

Who does the cooking at home? You eat very well
@danyoungy9 ай бұрын
Haha, i do a bit of cooking at home, nothing too complex, but normally pretty tasty & mostly healthy. Also a couple times a week I’ll eat out just because it’s convenient after I finish work late. I try to eat seafood a few times a week! 👌 plan is to become more self sufficient this year, I want to start growing some of my own vegetables

Do you go mid week for that ramp to be so quiet as most weekends are busy
@danyoungy11 ай бұрын
Normally I do week days mate to get away from all the boat traffic but I actually launched on a Sunday in this one . Forecast was not good so a lot of people stayed home 😆 that ramp can get hectic on a weekend with glamour conditions…
@shannonzygmont901911 ай бұрын
Yeh I live about 10 mins away and check the cameras to see how busy it is sometimes

Love your videos man, just some feedback but you neee to come back early from fishing to cook & fillet in daylight, night time filming sucks 😢
@danyoungy11 ай бұрын
Thanks mate! & I totally agree , I had this thought actually a few months ago to get some Cook-ups going earlier in the afternoons but I haven’t really focused on making it happen! Will need too though when I can… this time I couldn’t as I literally couldn’t get a legal fish until sunset 😆 Appreciate the feedback 🙏
