5 MONTHs of Game Camera Pics AMAZING ...Solo Journey in the Desert...

I loaded up my mules Big Agnes and Jet and went out to the desert wilderness to pick up some game cameras I have had out for 5 months. Hoping none had been stolen and anxious to see what pictures I got. An overnighter in the desert packing and camping on mules.

Love these videos. The jetboil you could have used it to start your campfire. Be a good idea to keep a ferro rod, and a couple of Bic lighters with about 3 ft of gorilla tape wrapped around them. The stuff burns like crazy but you can use it to cover a blister on your foot, repair a tent or canvas tarp or anything. Yeah you can actually survive on peanut butter and honey. Be a good idea to take a jar of peanut butter and a small jar of honey with you. Honey can be used to put on a cut or scrape, and it helps with sore throat as well. Sweeten up the coffee if you like sweet coffee. Beef bouillon cubes are good for just making a quick soup and they give you a lot of energy.

Nice ride Brett it is a lot of fun watching you and your dogs and mule travel around in the desert. I use to drive a truck over the road for the company that I still work for now. That was back in the 80s and 90s and I traveled I- 25 and I- 10 where you live . Nice country for sure I love it.

I saw that coati munde! We lived on a ranch down by Animas when I was a kid. One time a feller working for us was riding in some thick growth when a ring tail jumped on his horse with him. Scared that horse and threw old Buck off his horse. Horse ran off and Buck walked all the way to the ranch house. For a long time I didn’t have any idea what a ring tail was.

That's a funny story. Just so you know, a coatimundi and a ringtail cat are two different animals. I'm not trying to be a know it all but that info was unknown to me until this last May.

@@BrettVaughnB100 mules have strong feet compared to horses. Still it’s amazing your mules can travel such a country barefoot. Hell of a good trim for sure! I wonder how long - I mean how many days you could ride in such a country before the mules need to be shoed - weeks, month maybe 🤔 Anyway I like the country you ride. Great scenery ! You say you were born a 100 years too late. I wonder how it will be in a 100 years from now, hope they will still be guys riding into the wild…
