Guro Mark, Another fantastic video ! Kudos for ur creative prop. Practice yet effective especially with social distancing etc. Ur instructions are easier to follow; you explain the reason for the movements; utilizing a calm voice with positive encouragement. Await ur next video.

How did you assemble that training equipment? Or did you bought it ready made?

it's a century wavemaster base (the cylinder padding is removed) and I just taped a padded stick in an angle 1. Theres coincidentally a groove that fit it, but that's not necessary.

Guro Mark, Kudos to u for replying individually to our questions. At times, it greatly helps us to process your instructions, etc. Enjoyed learning for single training since many of us do not have a partner. Please keep producing those types of videos. You are held in high regard n respect.

Great content. I believe patterns like this are practical for self defense against large animal attacks as well as human. What exercises do you recommend for grip strength? God forbid we ever have to use this, but I like to hike in remote areas and have encountered larger predators at a distance. Since most predatory attacks are at close distance, with little or no warning, I believe a blade will be more effective than pistol if physical contact is made. Additionally, firearms are illegal in many areas. If I have to defend myself in an attack, I believe it will be necessary to have exceptional grip strength.

Grip strength is a tricky subject. I’ll def do a video on this, but you want to be as specific as possible when analyzing grip strength in weaponry. You have the obvious pull ups, etc but personally.. the best grip strength builder I’ve done is bag work. Striking with my intended weapon at 80-100% power to blast through resistance and still have composure.

Mark Anastacio thanks for the input, I appreciate your reply and look forward to the video. You give me and my family training ideas that broaden our concepts of fitness and defense. Thanks for devoting your time to making many safer and healthier.

Gave up on knives as self defense options unless you're absolutely sure you want to kill another person. Lots of people are in jail now for simply defending with blades its crazy
