SOLO LAS MÁS - Capítulo 04 La Mas Draga episode 4 Reaction!! The fourth episode of Solo Las Mas is out and we reacted to it! We ended last week confused so we were hoping to get answers this episode. The queens started the episode being told they would be competing in a meg challenge! They would have to learn choreography and sing to a Thalia song! This was a full on production with back up dancers. Then they would have to show off their most painted looks! These looks would be inspired by famous Mexican Paintings. There was drama in the makeup room. The queens were getting heated about the eliminations. It was exciting to see the queens lip sync with dancers on the stage! The each had their own performance. Then they came out in their most painted looks! There were some great looks! The critiques were up and down..Because this is Solo Las Mas the queens are only given the top 2 queens of the week! The queens then have to vote who is the bottom.. The winner was C-pher and 2nd was Soronasty. THEN they said there was going to be a most like Thalia star given to Georgiana. Then a good voice star given to Velvetine? The queens then voted that Soronasty was the bottom queen...Even though she was 2nd.. Last week Gvajardo was the bottom and now she and Soro have to lip-sync against each other. The lip sync winner was Gvajardo and now she gets to come back! The first ever cast of Solo las Mas is Soronasty , Gvajardo , Georgiana , Rudy Reyesz , Cpher , Madison baser , Sirena , Velvetine! We are so excited to react to the full season! Luis took it personal with Rudy. The issue he says about the last chapter is a lie (it's recorded). And it's proyecting; if he was arrogant before, that doesn´t mean Rudy is. Yes, Rudy is a little playful receiving critiques and it can translate wrong, but that tantrum Luis gave is just BS.

32:38 [re: hechizar] So, 'hechizar' literally means 'to cast a spell', but throughout the herstory of LMD it's been used as a synonym to 'make something work', for instance, when a costume's not well-crafted and a queen pulls something out of her bag of tricks to make it work, or if she has to do something she's not good at (like dancing) and she does something to make it seem like she knows what she's doing. There are variations of this, like calling queens 'hechiceras' (they're clever/creative enough to make things work) or that they have many 'hechizos' (old hidden tricks they can pull out when needed). In order to keep it simple, I've been translating it literally since season 5, as 'magic spells' or 'casting a spell' or 'being a witch'.

Hechiceras are literally crafty queens, many tricks up their sleeves! It seems like they are usually frowned upon but here in Mexico we love a good hechicera with tricks a.k.a TRUCOOOS 😂❤

Georgiana shouldn't have won The Most Thalia, her performance was good, but Velvetine deserves it more, from the singing to the performance and looking the second best after C-pher on the runway.

cierto, la primera q se ganó me pareció ridículo q ella la ganará pq rudy gano el primer lugar por lo tanto esa estrella era para ella si o si, y ahora la segunda q se ganó en este capitulo, le dieron una canción y una coreografía mucho más movida y divertida d ver q a las demás y además canta mal, esa estrella era para velvetin pq canta bien y además hizo una buena coreografía, desde la semana a pasada velvetin debió d regresar a la competencia tbh

The alliances are “the bad/evil bitches” (Madison, Rudy, Sirena), “the kittens” (Guajardo, Georgiana, Velvetine, Soronasty) and Cpher probably alone but we don’t yet. Fun facts: The evil bitches (Perras del mal) made a tour in 2022 and 2023 including Mista Boo, Raga Diamante and Sophia Jiménez. The kittens are drag family (Gvjardo is the drag mom of Soro, Velve and she also adopted Georgiana before her season)

A Vedette is originally a type of exotic dancer, similar to cabaret or burlesque dancer (Rudy went out on a vedette outfit back on her season for “La Más Fichera”). Nowadays “vedette” is a common term within female performer and drag circles for a triple threat, a jack of all trades, a performer who is prepared to dance, sing and act.

Hey, so some tea about the musical (and why it looked like... that). Apparently, the music producer for it arrived several hours late and unprepared, and didn't even finish the songs on time. Basically, the songs heard in the episode were not the same as the ones they recorded the musical with, so that is why many of them seem to not know the lyrics - those lyrics were not there in the unfinished versions they used. Also, due to all the time lost with the producer, they had to rush the rehearsals by quite a lot. Also, in terms of alliances, there is Las Perras del Mal: Madison, Rudy and Sirena. And Las Gatitas del Bien, which is practically everyone else except for C-Pher. C-Pher is just there, alone, vibing and winning.

There are two cliques based on families and previous tours. Madison, Rudy and Sirena are part of Perras del Mal which has toured around Mexico and they even have an Insta account together to promote their shows. The other clique the Gatitas del Bien are Georgiana, Soro and Gvajardo, who are all in the same drag family. Gvajardo (La Patrona) is Soro's Drag mom and Georgiana's Drag grandmother, which makes Soro Georgiana's Auntie. Gvajardo's drag house is the Dynasty and some of her other daughters include La Kyliezz (Georgiana's mom), Velvetine and Amelia Waldorf (the two co-parented with Margaret y Ya). It was pretty obvious from the start how they would vote that's why most of them have been alluding to cliques all season; all the Perras del Mal voted for Soro.
