I don't think its because he thinks less of others, it's because he doesn't want the attention, someone that reawakens is rare enough but being able to get stronger is unprecidented. So bringing attention to himself could be dangerous.

being a hunter is the biggest assest in the world and hes basically the strongest one, i wouldnt want the whole world coming after me girly think , u gotta hide ur assets or ppl will try and plunder them from you haha

nevermind the treasures in the different dimensions(dungeons) which is just the greed side of humanity, these are freaking different dimensions crossing over into our world with monster's trying come in that nukes cant destroy and only hunters can kill them they are humanity's last hope , earth is on the verge of destruction basically, if the hunters lose and cant close the gates a the monsters come through and thats a prison break, this is not a video game idk whats up with the main characters notification icon pop ups but probably just advance technology from a different dimension. imagine if abunch of s rank gates opened up and it was to much for the s rank hunters the world would be effed!
