Solo Leveling follows the story of Sung Jin-Woo, a notoriously weak "E-Rank" hunter in a world where portals to monster-filled dungeons have opened, connecting Earth to a realm of dangerous creatures. Hunters, individuals with special powers, are humanity's primary defense against these threats. Despite his weak rank, Jin-Woo is a committed hunter who takes on dangerous missions to support his ailing mother and younger sister. During one particularly disastrous dungeon raid, Jin-Woo and his party face a deadly double dungeon, and he's left on the brink of death. However, he mysteriously gains a unique power that allows him to "level up" - a system akin to a video game where he can grow stronger by completing quests, defeating monsters, and training.
