I remember those days, I was a SAHM in the 70's my "work", was I watched my nephews along with my two, from 7am till about 4pm M_F, I did this so I could stay home with my own babies, The hundreds of chores everyday, I was ready for bed by at least 10pm if not before, I would not trade those days for anything. When I became a gramma, I repeated, by raising two of my sons kids, and watching my daughters during the day from the time she returned to work after their births, until the middle of covid, I miss seeing them every day. My oldest grandchild is now a 35 year old man, he calls me at least once a week. Treasure the time, it goes way to quickly. You are a great Mom.housekeeper, decorator, gardener, shopper, cook, the whole package. I'm sure Eric thinks so, as do your kids. That's what matters, a blessed life, what you feel is shared by every Momma at some point. Many blessings and prayers to you and your beautiful family!

You are so right about our husbands being aware. My husband and I both work full time jobs outside of our house. But, his job is the main income. We don't have human kids, but we do have two fur babies. When I'm doing things in my house then get tired, he won't flinch. He never asks why laundry isn't neatly folded / put away, doesn't bark about dishes nor cleaning. He sees me doing my part and I get burnt out. He also gets burnt out. And we both pick up when the other is just too drained. Even when I'm super tired, both my sons (fur babies) know momma doing her best. They love snuggling up on the couch with me. Humans and our fur kiddos all know parents are rocking to do their parts. Keep killing it over there momma. I know your husband and kids ALL appreciate the hard work you do. 💐❤️❤️❤️

I love this Marie! Everything you said reigns so true. We can appreciate and be grateful for all that we have and love our life, that doesn’t mean we don’t experience overwhelm or exhaustion. After my kids go to bed I like to light a few candles, read a chapter of my book and watch an episode of a show with my hubby. It gives us a chance to unwind and connect with one another at the end of the day. I feel so much better the next day when I’ve taken that hour or hour and a half to myself before bed. Don’t forget about yourselves momma!

First of all thank you for your advice on also throwing clothes in the dryer. So far no damage to the clothes and i've saved so much time. I do not have a mountain of clean laundry on the table as I write this lol 😂❤ What is the "normal" bedtime in the US? We live in Denmark and kids are in bed by 6-7 for the kids up to age 5/9 and 8/9 for kids age 8-12. My kids bedtime is 9. But most kids in Denmark are in childcare at 6/7 in morning before school and then again childcare until 3/5 in the afternoon. Im a stay at home mom and there are not many of us in our society as it is looked down on being a stay at home mom and people believe it is the best for kids to spend most of their time in childcare facilities. Its kind of fxxxxx up if you ask me. I have had to defend having my kids at home until school sooo many times and especially the authorities are against having the kids at home. But i'm the mom and they can mind their own business ❤😊

Marie have you ever used the crock pot bags if you haven't you should it makes clean up so easy and it's faster !! I love them so much!! Sometimes I double them but you don't have to my daughter never does but my crock pots are all very old there over 20 yrs old and they get very hot that's why I do it! Walmart sells them!! Honey 8pm for bed time is not early except maybe in the summer on the weekend cause it stays day light so long and it makes it hard to go to sleep sometimes!! Unless you have black out curtains Lol and I do cause they help keep my house's heating and cooling bills cheaper!! Honey I was a single mom with 3 kids and I had to do it all so I know how you feel give your kido's a cup of water with a lid on it to put on the bed side table then they have no reason to get up only to go potty !!! I'm going to be nosey but is your husband the father of your oldest child father?
@MarieLoveAsbury7 ай бұрын
Yes, I've used crockpot bags and ran out. It's one of those things that you can't remember to get more of until you need them lol. I don't give my kids water in bed because sometimes they have accidents if they drink too much at bedtime. My oldest daughters biological father walked away when she was 2 and we haven't seen or heard from him since. My husband has raised her since she was 4 months old. He is her only daddy. ♡
