Thanks Jaren for taking us along on your camping trip! It looked like a big success. Took me back to motorcycle trips we made from the Oregon coast to Death Valley California. It’s definitely a more immersive experience on a motorcycle. You did a wonderful job setting up some shots of the bike. Thanks for taking the extra time to do that. It really makes me feel like I was there watching you ride by. And wow, that drone footage of you riding is so cool!

Looks like a lot of fun. Planning my first (in some 2o + years) moto camping. Got to ask (as a Brit) are you not afraid of bears, big cats and snakes? We have none of those critters here! Thanks
@pnwxplore3 жыл бұрын
I’ve only ever seen a bear once in the 26 years I have been here and never seen a big cat in person. I do carry bear spray with me however. The only venomous snake we have here is the rattle snake, which is a consideration in the lower elevations in the summer months.

Great job first time moto camping. Looked like an overall success. Lots of options without a refrigerator for a couple of days; oatmeal/Kodiak cups, tuna packets with crackers, canned chicken, ramen soup, jerky meats, canned chili, chef boyardee products, and I also like making cornbread muffins the night before a trip to have with everything above while away. Nice video and scenery, and spotting the deer. Pete - KI7LIL

The problem with motorcycle camping is that you are mostly stuck with all those protective clothes and little else. Hard to do other activities.

I can fit another set of shoes and clothes to do whatever I would want. But the activity for me is being on the motorcycle and traveling place to place
