Congratulations both for the camping trip and for the soup recipe with what seemed hot red chili peppers from your own garden. Somehow I skipped this video but I am glad it came to me now that I am returning from a two day, 600 km trip through all kind of mountain roads here in Mexico. I assume our little V-Stroms are not double but triple purpose bikes, yes, adventure, sport and touring. Like your soup, just a perfect blend of ingredients plus one more, the low petrol consumption. I made this travel on two tanks and still have left around a third of the petrol. By contrast my partner in this trip, riding a 850 BMW GS had to fill his tank four times. He coulld't believe it. Cheers!

Thank you very much for your message! Somehow YT didn't notified me and i saw it just now :( So glad you like and you enjoy your V-Strom as much as i do. There are so much advantages witch people are missing when they judge only the small engine :) Best regards & have safe but adventurous rides !

Nice camp, people are friendly, cool dog, its nice to see Romania, ill never get there. I like the trees, and the tracks, can You pretty much camp where You like, or do You ask the farmers
@transylvanianrider3 ай бұрын
Thanks Adam ! Yes, you can almost camp everywhere excepting the obvious private proprieties. Best regards from Romania !

Corona extra? I do like your hiumour, Adrian. Your wild camping episode is great fun. And couscous is a really good idea for camping. Although I prefer the simplicity of B&Bs (only small luggage needed), but I see your point in the wilderness. Maybe I should try it out on TET in North-East Germany. Cheers from Günter (Nürnberg/Germany)

What a great video. I felt like I was there. Very enjoyable. It must take a lot of time to edit this type of video, but it's really worth it. A lovely record of your trip. It's great that you can wild camp in your country. In the UK it's very difficult. Thanks for posting the video and take care. 👍

I loved your video, those Kangal dogs are really strong for fighting wolves. I have a 650 V Strom, and I am thinking about downsizing to the 250 VStrom as I am now 80 years old and if I drop the loaded up 650 I am not sure I can still pick it up, what is the top speed of the 250 you have , thanks.

Amazing Video !! I'm planning on going on a trip with a v'strom 250, and you just confirmed it's really possible !! Would even be nice to know how you recommend to pack all your stuff ... Looks super well organized ! Cheers
@transylvanianrider3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Gaunthier ! If you ride alone, you can pack like me: a 40L dry bag and under this, the tent, foldable chair and tripod. I could move all the packs at the rear of the bike for more space but i can't get rid of my plastic topcase :) I like the functionality, too much. Inside i have all my stuff in a backpack, and if i need extra space, i put my backpack on me. If you ride with pillion you can add two side bags (i prefer soft) and you have plenty of space. Have fun and safe rides with your V-Strom 250 !

Wow! I'm a huge fan of bushcrafting and outdoors videos and do many small trips myself. Moreover, I'm currently taking my MC license here in Denmark and have been looking for a bike that I can afford with my limited budget, and the V-stron 250 appeals to me to most. This video is basicly the PERFECT video for me :D After of course having watched many of your other videos. Great great stuff, this was a pleasure to watch, thank you for sharing this with us! All the best!

Thank you Jess and i'm glad you like the video ! The DL250 is a very good bike and also ideal for beginners. It is predictable, it not "helps" you to do mistakes, in fact is a very safe bike. If you can, after getting your license, try to rent one for a short test. I am sure you will like it. Best regards and good luck at the exam !!! ;)

What is this wood in the dog's necklace?
@transylvanianrider3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jairan ! It's an old but very effective way to keep shepherd dogs away from wild animals. The wood does not bother them unless they want to chase deer or other more vulnerable animals. It is an obligation for shepherds to put this device that seems rudimentary. Best regards !
