I love watching yourvideos, its better than Survivor.

One of the reasons I love watching this sort of show is that it really teaches you about observation and awareness of your surroundings and the resources within it. It's also interesting to see the various approached bushmen (I'm Aussie) take to create a shelter. Great meal done especially for the energy you expended. I am totally blown away that you could sleep without a decent sleeping bag. Resilience to cold maybe!?

You’re definitely an inspiration to us and is now my favorite wild boy to watch. Being female in this world my family won’t let me camp solo unless I’m in one of our back yards lol however I’ll continue to watch your videos and hopefully one day convince them to at least let me venture to camping on safer secured camp grounds in the future but until then keep the videos coming.

I give you credit you are out in a lot of different weather. This video and one other reminds of when I was 15 and my buddy and I went on a week trip in the Sierras 3 days in and up on the Pacific crest close to 12000 feet it rained some then that night the wind blew 50mph+ while still raining. Everything we owned was soaking wet. In the morning while still raining we started heading out. Took 2 and a half days to get everything dried out.

Nice!! You learn a lot in situations like that I have the Sierras on my list of places to camp.

Whoa! That combination of high winds, dry conditions, and an uncontained camp fire made me nervous as heck. I noted the way you cut the logs into pieces, put them back together and put kindling in the middle. Unfortunately, it looks like it offers no containment in a high wind. There are ways of cutting a log so it does a better job of containing a fire. I'll have to look it up. I believe the log has a hole in the side, and you feed the fire through the side hole. It looks like you ate a hearty meal of mashed potatoes, hamburger and mushroom gravy. Anyhow, I'm enjoying your videos, though I don't think I personally could spend more than a night in the cold. Take care. EDIT: kzbin.infoLfOJ8xsuCY0?feature=share The above looks like a slightly safer campfire, but a pit would probably be best.
