damn i didnt expect merciless to be the weapon of choice, is it actually pretty good now?

It is fantastic if you're able to proc impetus (kill clip on steroids it has built into the gun) and the appropriate surges. With 3x surges, radiant, and impetus active, the each shot deals around ~100k damage and you're getting off at minimum 5 shots dealing that much damage. If the situation calls for it (mainly where special ammo is far more manageable than heavy ammo) and you can get things rolling, it's insane. This isn't even including debuffs, either. Just buff stacking.

@@apex_xd8907 just be wary- it won't be the best option for everything. It's absolutely fantastic when the situation calls for it, but that won't be every situation!

Im trying to learn how to run the refuges. Is it a good idea to try it solo to learn? Or do i need the mod that gives restoration

I would not recommend doing this solo to practice. I would highly recommend looking for a team that's willing to explain to you how to do refuges. Realistically speaking it's just connect the dots, but it can be a bit confusing when you have absolutely zero idea how the dots actually work.
