Always drop it in the ghost room especially if youre gonna stay there long like lookin out for orb... Just place or drop the crux on the floor. It has area of effect so don't stray too far from it. Ghost will stop hunting once it's in area of effect so it's good to be near it all the time. It also only has one-time use so use it wisely. Once it's gone, you have to be extra careful.
