The band have not broken up but are having a break. Victoria is on a world tour DJing , Ethan is into film track sound production and Thomas has appeared with people like Patti Smith. Damiano still hadn’t healed enough from his break up and so couldn’t give up of himself as much as he wanted to when he was getting all the love from Dove. Writing the songs for his solo album has healed him and he does say he is very happy now and in love.. Like you I can’t help following him and I’m 78, but no star has excited me since Michael Hutchence. There is so much depth and talent to Damiano. He,s a very interesting person. If you want to listen to his first single, Silverlines, look for the orchestra version from Italian TV

The band is still fine. they all agreed to take a break for a year, so they can all focus on solo projects. Damiano decided to go more pop, because as he said, why should he compete with his own band. And Damiano's always been the poppy part of the band ;-) He has said that the song is about how after his break up with his girlfriend of six years, he had a hard time trusting himself with a new relationship. But he managed to get over that and is now happy in his new relationship. 🙂 If you have the chance, aside of Silverlines, he also had a showcase a week ago, where he performed three as of yet unreleased songs from his upcoming album. 'The Bruise', 'Voices' and 'Next Summer' The quality of the recording aren't as good, but the song are still pretty promising.

He is talented and he's always been the pop-soul of Maneskin. I'm glad he took time to develop his own project. All of them are doing solo projects. But the band still exist and it will publish new stuff, when they're done with solo stuff. Personally, I prefer this song to his previous single "Silverlines".

The band is fine and planning new music for next year, according to them all. They're on a break, while bandmates pursue some personal projects (Bassist Vic has launched her career as a DJ, guitarrist Thomas has been playing with Tom Morello and Stevie Nicks, and drummer Ethan has composed the sountrack for a movie). The song is indeed related to the very public break up, at least in a way. According to him, it's mostly about how he felt broken and unable to trust someone new again, even as he was growing closer to his new girlfriend Dove Cameron.

Silver Lines mi è piaciuta di più quando la musica si dissolve resta qualcosa dentro la voce di Damiano è meravigliosa. il ragazzo un vero istrione Maneskin sono grandi soprattutto per lui e Thomas Raggi il migliore tra i nuovi chitarristi.questo nuovo singolo è bello e orecchiabile interpretato con la solita bravura però forse la musica si dimentica facilmente quando il pezzo è finito.rimane la sensazione di aver ascoltato una interpretazione vocale magica

Oh yes a reaction on Dami! So the band after two world tours is resting and everyone is doing solo projects. Vic is touring as a deejay worldwide and released a song with Anitta, Thomas is enjoying his life and played with tom morello and patty smith , Ethan created the soundtrack for a documentary about mental health h. Dami said that he was in a very dark place and in a big depression because there are 25 pcts of him who is a wild rocker and the rest loves pop, is very romantic and deep and he didn't feel fulfilled and it started to become problematic. After his breakup he was completely devoid of all emotions and was emotionless and he met Dove very quickly and apparently he felt guilty because she was flooding him with love and he didn't know how to give it back.

He had to reconnect with his emotions and face his dark side by going to live alone without the band in California to find what would make him feel good and the songs were born at that moment. The group is doing well, they will come back afterwards when everyone will have been nourished by new experiences. the song silverlines is beautifuuuuuuuuuul specially the orchestra version! i love that solo project !

The whole band took a break to pursue personal projects. Maneskin's new album will be released in 2925. In the meantime, I recommend you also watch the video. Yes, the songs are really about Damiano's story. To find out how it will end, I recommend you react to the first single: "Silverlines". Funny, right? His choice. Maneskin already planned a hiatus. Victoria is going on a tour as a DJ. Haven't heard her music but I presume it's going to be dance/ club. Actually, they became famous in the UK in 2021 at Eurovision, but they were on the Italian X Factor in 2017, and blew up then, and had a few albums before Eurovision. And before The Italian X Factor they were together for a few years busking and playing small venues. Yes, it's about his break up. He cheated on his long term girlfriend that he had been with since they were 15. If I were her and had to listen to this I would be devastated everytime!! But I love this song, the saddest lyrics ever to the happiest tune. I love his first single Silverlines also, has an operatic feel to it.

Må as a whole are all taking a temporary break to explore solo projects and then regroup. I think they were feeling a little bit of burn out after an almost 2 year non-stop global tour.
