Making an overnighter in a Pine Forest...using only traditional Viking gear ...Reindeer skin, wool blanket and my linen tarp. Making a stew and viking flatbread over the fire...and my coffee of course.
Cold night... but wonderful to be out again and making an overnighter in the wilderness. Hope you'll enjoy my little adventure together with me.

Tom👍👍 What a great camp this was in the forest, serene and simple but full of natures sounds and visions. Taking the minimalists approach keeps you grounded, the connection to nature is stronger and more welcome. Raising the fire pit on the tubular frame was a good idea, no heat robbing conduction from the ground and better air flow for combustion. A simple stew and bread with some cold brew to wash it down looked so delicious and cooked on the open fire makes it even better. Of course making this one official with the signature Cimbrer coffee😉is most appreciative. Other than a cold night which you fared well it seems, this was a wonderful adventure in a beautiful setting. Thanks for bringing us along on this well filmed and presented over night stay Viking style... See you next time. Enjoy!

That little brass tripod you made to keep your Fireball off grounds pretty ingenious. How tall is your drinking horn? I have an idea for some antlers that I have. You know there's one thing that I've noticed when you go into that black forest, I hear birds and Ravens but I never see any other type of animal oh, no dear no squirrel No foxes no wolves. Are there any wolves in that Forest? A fire has always been mesmerizing to me I love to sit around and just look at them oh, it makes you think deep. I see that you were using wool to keep warm it works great doesn't it. Thanks for bringing us along on your camp out oh, I sure do wish I was there oh, it looked so Serene and sounded so nice. You are so lucky to have the Forest there , here in England we cannot just camp out like that , you must seek permission from Landowners before you are allowed to camp in most places , we do have some small olaces where we can camp. , but not many .

Last year i planned a tour around Denmark🇩🇰 starting in Germany in Hedeby to visit the Viking markets and museums and to fish🎣 for salmon and sea trout but yes that could and still cannot be done by corona. But it was another beautiful video 👍🤩🌳

Tom, your forest day trips or overnight trips are a great show. But I think you need to build or buy a Viking ship in crew and hit the north Atlantic. All would be complete then , but of course keep filming your voyages. I’m just saying!Ha Hah Hah regards your friend in the USA
