Wow just found this series of yours years later ... fascinating to see the source of our beloved river. Looking forward to watching the whole series now! Especially Welcome Reef to Sewells point!

Thanks so much I’m still doing it slowly. The headwaters are such a special place. With a good car and low rain you can drive pretty close. I hiked in as there was a large water crossing. I wish I’d taken more video back then

Wow, what an adventure Kate! That looked like heaps of fun... loved the storytelling at the start too ... very you 😉

Thanks mate took me a while to workout how to do it. Its old footage and its not super high quality so needed a good way to mix the old with the new. I bang on less in the next ones hahaha. PS your adventures inspired me to dust off this old stuff.

Looking forward to the rest too of course! Bang on all you want 😉 I'm always up for storyline 😁

Ive been across the Shoalhaven at Kahn Yunis by 4WD heading up the to Minuma Fire trail, the river there was barely wide enough so up stream would be a nightmare! Did you see any of the freshwater muscles in the river? oh and well done...
@KateGrarock3 жыл бұрын
thanks so much -Oh would be great to explore that area by 4WD. I saw lots of muscle shells, probably from a water rat or platypus eating them.

Which boat did you choose and how? Thinking about an Alpacka for similar reasons.
@KateGrarock Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s an Alpacka. I’m so impressed with them. I have dragged the shit out of that thing fully loaded and even been spat out a rapid onto pointy sticks and not had a puncture. Very impressive boat. I got it years ago when the US dollar was closer to Aus. dollar. There is an Australian company that sells them now.
