how did you remove your j pipes after installing this cat back? do they just slide right out behind the bumper? im curious to know since I have the same set up now, any help would be great.

Yeah! You just loosen the band clamps on them and slide them off, they may be a little stuck so just use a mallet ot hammer and cloth to loosen them up a bit to slide off.

well the exhaust system was about $950 not including shipping, and $20 for the dumps in place of the j-pipes from oriely's autoparts.

well the point of the exhaust from the manufacture was to sound good with no drone. I myself think it sounds even better with them off at the expense of drone, which I really don't mind. If i could have bought the exhaust with out the pipes in the first place I probably would have.

The exhaust system has some "J pipes" in them that act like a resonator for the system. If you look at the system online you'll see!

Muffler deleting is not the best option for a V6 it makes it louder but very sloppily and untamed. The best thing to do for a V8 is to delete the back resonators, add a good round aftermarket muffler like say Borla S type, then super charge your engine. That will make it sound amazing!

I meant V6 sorry. I have a 2016 challenger SXT i like the V6 cause Its my everyday car. I'm no racer. 305 horse power is exceptional. But for the most part I love the gas mileage. But we all want the growl. It will never sound like a Hemi but it can sound damn good.
