if camels suck against the enemy cav, what is the point of camel cav of the Ayyubids? don't seem like they play a big role as counter cav.

The Castle of the Crow and the landmark town centre's range do not overlap. So attacking would not be too bad if you avoid their ranges and just torch down buildings with the higher Castle Age torch damage as plan B upon being chased away from attacking units by the defences 🛡. The wood 🪵 destroyed/minute by doing so in this game is pretty good, especially adding in lost productivity from construction time and walking to rebuild lost structures. It would be nice if aoe4 showed the range of static defences, because they matter a lot.
