they do whatever they can to keep the game the way it is... the game needs so many inherent changes to attract a more casual player base, but pros shit on all those ideas because they either A. it doesn't affect them so why would the push for it, or B. it might affect their dominance on the ladder that they've had for 15 years and they're scared of change revealing that they might not be able to adapt

I’m hoping the these META videos don’t discourage players from playing whatever spec/class they want for Solo RBGs. This was supposed to revitalize participation and variety in the Rated battleground scene, which has been lacking for a very long time.

these videos are fun, but they age like milk. for example, DH was godlike in pvp leading up to DF, but they got hit with the nerf bat pretty hard shortly after that, and now they're scheduled for a full class rework from blizz. bottom line, a class that looks great today could be totally meh in a month or two. players should just play what they enjoy and are best at, rather than constantly chasing the meta.

They should modernize it. Capture point with clear ground zone, well designed map with detail for trick and movement. Not just a flat waste with flowers. PvP lobby with customizable template build like in Guild Wars 2.

A added reasoning for hunters and rogues being really good is capture the flag maps, I know you said that they technically lose out because they wont be base defending(hunters) but the fact that they can FD to drop combat to split off and go back to a node during a team fight to recapture a flag that is about to go neutral is pretty invaluable, instead of lingering around in combat.

Actually prot paladin ooms in 20 sec minimum, can oom in 10 if you use flash of light. So yea healing as prot paladin is impossible. Dps will do more healing and prot immunities can be cced to interrupt their 5 min cd. So prot is D tier, no healing, no dmg, no spinning (70% dmg taken increased) flops in even 1v1 and no unique support abilities that hpal / ret don’t have. If the enemy team has a prot paladin, you will always win, if you have the prot, you lost. Very bad, takes the place of a flag carrier.

Battlegrounds and Warmode activities are the future of World of Warcraft pvp even if most people can’t get it yet. People obsessed with being the top 1% to feed their egos constantly measuring their d**s to prove they are better than everyone else are bad for the game if YOU DEVS DESIGN THE GAME ARROUND THEM. (and I’m competitive AF, but I want this game to survive because I love it, and the solution its not appealing to that %) Players keep abandoning wow for the same reasons and devs really need to understand this ASAP and stop playing with fire ignoring the pvp scene. Imagine logging into the game and already having 1000 pvp things to do in the world (as it should be in an mmorpg, DEVS…THIS IS AN MMORPG). Many times you don't have time or desire to be in queue, being interviewed (literally) by other people to see if you are “good enough player”…. you JUST WANT TO PLAY. -GIVE US MORE big fights, more bg/rbg maps, more NON QUEUED content! -Fix your servers so we can wpvp in this magnificent world you created for us. -Fix the guild/community systems to reward “guild pride” and unity for their members, let us design better TABARDS for gods sake lol its been 20 years, maybe add a “tabard creator” in the World of Warcraft webpage for this. Let guilds design their logos to use ingame (this needs a lot of work). -Add exclusive warmode rewards, add more warmode worldquests, invasions. -Battle for Nazjatar+Tolbarad+OG Wintergrasp+Halaa (remember? BC zone)+OG Ashran. zones/battles like these can be fun with better servers. -Add a premade vs premade feature for Epic BG’s and add EXCLUSIVE epic bg maps. -Add Warmode world bosses controlled by factions/communities/guilds. Warmode scort quests/events (factions/guilds/communities) defend an npc scorting a BIG chest (full of conquest/honor/gold/some gear) that wil be rewarded to the winner, two teams! one attacking one defending). -City/towns sieges. One place will become a target for this a day, player will get a daily quest that rewards conquest, honor, gold and a special currency for these events (can be any place in the world). The quest will change depending on faction. Example: if the zone is Honor Hold (alliance starting zone, outlands) The alliance will get a quest that ask you to DEFEND, The horde will get a quest that ask you to ATTACK the same place. The currency you get as a reward will give you the opportunity to buy special (unique) rewards from this places/events like faction/guild/community mounts (you can put your guild/community flag there), Tabard, warmode toys, banners etc. The potential is there. Let me progress my main and alts outside of arena. NOBODY LIKE QUEUES. Its killing the game. Its time to fix this. This is what is all about: Community, adventure, challenge, friendship and laughter. We play because we love pvp, yeah.. BUT we stay subbed because we are having fun, and these games are more FUN and MEMORABLE if you play them with friends. Waiting 40 mins in queue to get yelled at for not playing the “right spec” or rage at people for not filling your expectations in a fight that last a few minutes IS NOT FUN. No more queues, just give people a reason to go outside the world and they will. Focus on the community and the game will grow. THIS IS A MMORPG. Ask ANY player what is their most memorable “pvp moment/memory” You will be surprised at the number of people who tell you a story about world pvp and their friends. Go back to your roots. Give us WARCRAFT.

bdk is underrated with their ability to stack damage buff on a single enemy that stacks with each target that attacls and lock them down, pretty got for killing healers.

I'm glad that, same with ss, tier lists like these are kinda irrelevant. Before, people wouldn't invite you unless your class was in the s tier of some streamer's list. Now, it doesn't matter, you get into groups anyway. And, since the legend title is percentage based off your class, the less played classes end up being the easiest to get the title - I hope they do something similar for BG blitz.

In my opinion, access to stealth and smoke bomb alone makes outlaw minimum A tier. Blade Flurry damage can actually be competitive with other damage dealers. I played it myself at 2k RBG mmr (current season - EU).

I had a quick question to you - I quit the game around Legion, but considering returning and playing a mix of PvP and PvE. I've seen that most top-level raiding guilds are Horde, and ditto top PvP players are typically Horde as well. Is there a reason behind this? I'm not a big fan of the lore and the story behind the Horde, although I guess once you reach top-end, you're doing the ~same world quests as others. I wish there was a game mode where you pick a race, pick a side to fight for, and go with it. Horde vs Alliance seems to be outdated anyways.

I think you're seriously undervaluing Resto Shaman. The new set bonuses are going to make chain heal bonkers. Between that and the aoe from healing stream and tide, not to mention rain. aoe mana regen for other healers for mana sustain. No other class has the aoe healing that resto shaman has. Plus the spec is highly mobile, has 2 different types of aoe roots, aoe knockback, Hex, aoe stun... etc, etc. Plus resto shaman is the only healer in the game with a kick. There is no frickin way Rsham isn't S in rated bg's. You can't ask for a better flag runner healer. Insane healing, mobile, and has the best peals of any healer in the game.

My buddy mains rsham so I'm excited to hear you expecting it to be really good. That said, small critique, felt the need to mention that rsham isn't the only healer with a kick by a long shot, and even with preservation it isnt the only ranged healer kick (though shear is indeed superior.) Hpal, mw, rsham, prevoker, and even rdruid (if catweaving) have access. Not to hate on the rest of the point or anything, just worth mentioning.

Ive played bgs since wrath an i have seen lot high level arena players try bgs an are clueless on how to play them,it will be a shock to must of them its not arena where all you need to know is the line of sight in maps....bgs are more tactical you can beat teams with better players easily if you play an have the experience...

BGs aren't that hard to figure out, I've got Glad during Wrath and started rated Arena since BC. Understanding a Rated BG is beyond simple compared to mastering your class(s) and understanding every other class for Arena games. I have no idea what "High level arena player" would struggle to understand battlegrounds. I use to do them with the top Glad ranked teams on the server, we just destroyed everybody in a battleground for fun, this was during Wrath.

I get so frutrated with teirlists, cause to me, S tier is 1 specc per role. Right now you got half the game in S, which makes no sense.. S should be 1 melee, 1 caster, 1 healer, 1 tank. A tier is still really really good.. But if everything is S nothing is S.

I dont think changing rolls is allowed if you sign up to be a tank and dps, the game picks, what role you get is what you are for the match duration. If a dps queues, but decides they want to tank, they cant until they request to tank in the next queue.

I feel like Devoker is going to suffer from the limited range. It's survivability is already not too great in comparison to other casters, but having to go in to do damage is a bit scary for them.

@@glndopangamer With bad healers yes. But that goes for all casters almost. The only actually tanky ranged are locks, spriest and frost mage. For lower rating melee will steamroll as in all brackets.

Solo Q Rated BG has a strong chance to revive the game for so many players. Solo Shuffle is why people are leaving because Healing is hell and DPS is a long as hell time to wait for rated rewards. Rated BGs are just so much more enjoyable long term for the average player, Less STRESSFUL.

Warrior is trash without pocket healer, this is "solo queue bg" warrior should be B to C. Every warriors are sleeping in the graveyard most of the time And the more rogue on the side the higher chance to lose a battleground. Nearly half of the specs are S tier cannot really distinguish them

I agree with the most of this tier list it kinda resembles what mine would be but I would never put vengeance in s lol it belongs in d just about any dps can just solo it by themselves. All vengeance mobility is still nerfed while carrying a flag so its not even mobile. Nothing compares to bears atm as far as tanks go.

Because this means the game is being more balanced, you shouldn't put a S tier in C tier because you need it spread out. If all classes are more viable, the game is more balanced, it's that simple. This is a really good thing.
