This is a good direction, and old player will have fun with this while they do their end game raids with 8 man. Also great for testing builds. However new and returning player getting punished for solo-ing is not right message. I really dont understand if they want to make the game solo or not. Bc if you tell new player there are raids but we will take away some of your incomes comapre to those who do this with others is not an inviting idea. Being punished for playing on your own. Out of players, new players would need the most gold to keep them engaged and able to hone and push. People will make the argument that this is catch up mech.. it s not bc if you re new or returing players with no gold you re not catching up and if you solo, u also not getting ready for 8 man raid ( seeing how much he was able ignore mechs :D). This is a mode its own creating a different approach to the game but it punishes you to choose it. ( IN case if the gold restrictions will be part of NA version)

This solo raid does not teach the 8 man version of any of the mechanics. They will not know how to do the mech with people. Tbh I really thought that was kind of obvious. If i was a new/returning player, i would rather have less gold than wasting my time in party finder, or even worse, paying a bus to clear content in order to progress. As they say, time is money, and solo raids saves you hella time.

@@faith669 well said, all true. Still see no reason giving them less gold. Really hope that old players don't want to push that narrative either since the game needs new players and gold is key to their progression. Also it doesn't affect their ( 1620 plus) gameplay by any means.

Big question: let’s say you have a 1620 ilvl main. Since they removed the amount of raid you can play a few patches ago, can you still do solo raids after doing 3 gold earning group raids? For example, if im 1620, i am doing echidna NM, Thaemine NM, and voldis HM as my 3 group gold earning raids. After i finish those, can i solo raid valtan, vykas, brel, kaya, or akkan to get vendor mats for the shop?

If I make 30-80k a week and it takes 500-800k to get 1600-1610 what does that tell you? Brand new players wont do this. I as a returning player am prepared to be 1-2 raids behind doing solo content forever at my own pace because its p2w on purpose.

It's quite dumbfound reading comments and reddit posts. People complain the gold is too little for solo mode. Are you serious? 50% is generous. The whole purpose of solo mode is to help new players get used to their classes + raid system in LA, and eventually join actual Party mode, since this is MMO !! Remember, bots can be program to run these solo raids. And if gold reward is high, market will be inflated with worse RMT and hurts the game even more. Also, why would anyone join Party mode if rewards of solo are just slightly less? That would kill purpose of MMO.

@@monizotic it is true , the raids arent hard for people like us. but if you put yourself in these newer player shoes and remember the time and grind we progged since like basically argos, and so forth the raids get harder as you go up. and they probably dont have a group or chance to keep pulling it without being kicked or buying a dps bus. it still takes effort i dont see newer players clearing these raids that easily in terms of certain mechs. it wasnt easy and free for us but we were at the same footing with others. these new players dont even get a chance.
