Solo RIU Palace Kukulkan February Vacay

This trip was so much fun!! I decided to do a plan a quick solo trip to Cancun and this vacay was so worth it. Beautiful hotel, super crowded, and the food was super good. The resort lacks activities so please know that you will have to go off the resort to do things.

Thanks for the tips! We're going next week and can't wait! I was looking at their schedule because I wondered what they had planned for nightlife, so your advice to go off the resort is helpful. I went to the adults-only in RIU Montego Bay a couple of years ago and every night was LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT!!!! So, I was expecting this one to have similar activities, but I guess not. Anyway, awesome review. It made me even more excited about our trip.

Be excited as it’s a beautiful resort!! And the food and drinks are good! Not a fan of Jamaica but the RIU hotels are super nice and you will be able to visit the other ones! So that’s a plus!! Have fun ❤️

I would try out Riu Palace Las Americas it’s where I stay when I come to Cancun great staff they have a 24 hours bar where u can get snacks also when it rains there a place u can go dance drink play games u guys should check it out great resourt

I stayed there before! Was my very first trip to Cancun and I LOVEED it. Actually went back to visit it last year as RIU will allow you to visit all of their resorts. I would definitely recommend there as well. Thank you Jayme!!

Yes ma’am!!! It was crowded, BUT they had three different pools for your flavor. Did you see the main pool in the video? It was like that everyday.

Surprised on 24 hour room service. We head there in a few weeks but staying at RIU Palace Peninsula

We’ll see if they will allow you to come hang out there. When I was there we could go to all of the other RIU hotels but they were not allowed to visit Kukulkan. Visit the RIU Americas…it’s really nice there too and the buffet is good! Enjoy!

No they were not, but being out in the sun, it felt realllllly good

Omg you are going to love it!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 traveling solo is the bomb!! Nope no reservations for dinner, just go!! Be sure to ask them if you can hang out in the spa for an hour. You can do the steam room or just the warm pool. Let me know how you like it!!

Possibly. I hope they have gotten better cause us adults like fun too!! Even if it karaoke 🤷🏾‍♀️

No they do not, which really sucked. They don’t have a lot of activities honestly, BUT if you’re okay about going off the resort, there is a lounge (Rooftop) spot down the street in walking distance you can go too! There is another RIU hotel that has a club, but you will have to catch a cab to get there as they do not provide transportation.

It was okay…we didn’t stay out long as it started to rain. Outside of that there was not much to do. Hopefully things have changed by now since they were fairly new when I went.

Ladies, I love your reviews, but come on. You are mad because you didn’t get a welcome drink, but everything else was good. You Shouldn’t even have mentioned that.

Sir or Madam, for as much money as I spend on these trips I want it all and anyone visiting these places should want it too. I’m just saying. Vacaying has gotten very expensive and again this is just my view. I wasn’t mad about anything cause babbby everything else was good. Thank you for taking time out your awesome day to comment.
