I love how vastly different interpretations can be taken. "Explorer Legal" made me think a high level adventurer was a threat to add even more to the rogue magitech scientist. But im interested to see your story flourish

As someone who's interested in solo RPGs and trying to wrap my head around Fabula Ultima as a system, it's like you've started a series that's perfect for me. Hopefully, through this series I can start to understand some of the stranger aspects of its rules so I can eventually run this game for my group. Thank you so much for this. :)

FU master here. I am a solo player too, and I was planning a solo FU attempt when I stumbled on this video. I have to be honest, FU states that the focus of the game is the interplay between the PCs and their "growing together" till they can tackle the main problems, so we're probably missing something in this way. Also I really have no idea how to balance things with a single PC: I'll probably use two as elites (double the actions and HPs).

"Coolly" doesn't necessarily mean easily. It could instead mean unemotionally or calmly. The Avatar might have been interfering in someone's evil plan or legitimate duty (possibly on purpose, possibly not). So they attacked and defeated him, but it wasn't personal; just "oh well, if I must, I must."
