At 25:05 you could have fly to the first planet to get a +1 diplomacy 😊

Might not have mattered but you hurt yourself on that third planet by moving their ship when you meant to move your ship. Also aren't you allowed to move all your ships like the rogue planet does? If so, you hurt yourself there as well. Either way, nice playthrough. I'd be interested in another playthrough for sure. I own this and have yet to get it to the table. I've said it before, but really enjoying these solo playthroughs.

For your question about the player advancing all their colonization tracks... Unfortunately not, this is done as a game balancing mechanic. The Rogue (AI) gets certain advantages and disadvantages to make gameplay smoother and seemless.

Great game. I think you could have won but you made 2 mistakes. The first is already mentioned, you moved the rogue ship instead of yours and starting at 31:54 when you reroll all your dice you forgot the one at the bottom of the dice tray.

Great video. I’m new to this game. It seems from the rules that you are supposed to use the rogue side of the control mat for solo play. Is there a reason that you didn’t?

Yes, I don't understand that one either. Can anyone clarify? The Rogues did not have any ship on a culture planet a that time (3:37).

Never mind, figured it out. They still had all 4 ships in their galaxy, earning 1 per ship.

I got a question here. So at the end of the Rogue move, I got the Rogue's culture maximum so I reroll 3 dices and that ends up the culture gone up again. On the rulebook it says "after this is done (Rogue's max culture action) , move the culture token back to zero." So should the culture token actually stay at where it should be after the extra turn ( reroll 3 dices) or should it go back to zero again? Thx

I *believe* you would resolve the first roll of the 3 extra dice BEFORE you drop the culture back down to zero. I'd have to dig in to the rules again to double check though. I also know that a few rules were slightly changed or made clearer in the from the first printing to the second, so it may be clearer there.

I like this game in PvP, but the solo mode is very weak. It mainly depends on the AI rolls. In most games the AI hits the max colony level long before either player's VP is near 21 because of rerolls maxing out their energy most turns.

I actually enjoy this one quite a bit solo. I think most games "feel better" as PvP, but I think that this one works well. It's definitely one of the better solo experiences in the Tiny Epic line, some aren't great solo in my opinion.

2:30 in the revised rules you roll all rogue dice at once. Then you allocate in the MECDEU order. Plays faster and more natural.

can you explain to me how rolling the energy works? ive seen some roll energy but not move up their energy counter up and other times they roll energy and they get 3 energy. im kinda confused

When you roll energy, you'll get the amount of energy that you have ships on a planet that produces energy. Does that make sense?
