highlight is jadefire for defend. ice dragon was used for freeze and maxed on remaining cash. but you can also use other freeze and/or slow units.

i think you can. but depends on the challenge. you may try it first in epic/leg and check if strong enough for the next level portals. i was lucky the challenge was easy. For the sake that your secret will not be wasted, use both Evolved jadefire and ice dragon and/or better join in public raid servers in discord. BUT, if you have evolved jadefire, highly possible to win even without ice dragon support.
