We bring our Harper friends to ambush Kar'niss with his gang. I haven't had friends here before so it's a first. I went in expecting it to be a lot easier. Well, you'll see :)

Stun giving you an opportunity to sneak attack is a fantastic combo. I'd never considered making a monk/rogue dual class but they work beautifully together here

Oh yeah, Shadow Monk desperately needs a Rogue multiclass to be truly complete. Granted, I've seen people make monoclass Shadow Monk work but it usually involves throwing haste potions on the ground.

@FriendlyLich in one run, I was in the mindflayer colony and doing the necrotic laboratory. It got very scary and I was pretty much surrounded by zombs. No misty step scrolls or dimension doors, it was *panic* Then I realized "I'M A LEVEL 9 ROGUE WHAT AM I DOING" I drank a speed pot and fireballed myself with both actions, gleefully shouting "YAY EVASION!!!"

I’m pretty excited for drunken master monk. I’ve never played it before but I really like the concept of it, especially the ability to use flurry of blows on multiple enemies at once at the higher levels.

Nice work, learned a couple of new tricks in advance for my own Shadow Monk honor mode attempt (Stunning Strike into Sneak Attack is inspired!) Any reason for that armor in particular?

@FriendlyLich yup and so far goddamn early game Monk SUCKS (especially since I swore off Tavern Brawler 😭) Just muttering "just wait till Level 6 just wait till Level 6 just wait till Level 6" over and over as I bite my tongue and avoid fights 😤

Not being able to shadow step in shadow cursed land is ... somewhat strange. 😅. But at least a nice fight. And yes: it is sometimes hard to understand why the npcs do what they do, like ... are they confused or what?

The first part of act 2 darkness yes. I didn’t try the darker parts before killing Karniss so I don’t know about that part unfortunately.
