I preferred the days when the Championship would change hands regularly. It made it more entertaining and kept it fresh. There's always multiple people you enjoy seeing becoming champion. Then a 8-12 weeks out of a major event (SS/WM) put it on someone who can boost ratings/ticket sales/merch sales etc.

That tag titles hot take is not dumb at all. When you see a great wrestler holding a tag team belt is very common to say: "That wrestler is too good to be in a tag team, he should get an individual championship". Plus, Sami Zayn and KO vs the Usos main evented WrestleMania because of Sami's great storyline with the Bloodline. It wasn't about winning the championship, it was about Revenge. Because at that time a lot of fans were actually claiming for Sami to face Roman for the WWE Championship at Mania and that title match felt like a consolation prize. There are great tag teams who can prestige the championships, but the ultimate goal is winning individual gold.

Being completely real I highly doubt anything the bloodline does from here on out with have the same impact to it. The issue with AEW Is that many…have tried to put them on par with WWE. You’re so right. ECW, LUCHA UNDERGROUND AND to an extent, TNA hasn’t tried to and didn’t try to compete with WWE. They were rebels & they were different. AEW needs to embrace that. I think Jack Perry can be a HUGE star now in AEW. He can bring some freshness similar to a Brian Pillman character. I think AEW should run with it.
