Hi there thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately I don't really have much budget kit left. As I upgraded I passed all of my other items on to either other bushcrafters starting off or giveaways. If I could raise a fund from my community I would be glad to put a more budget friendly, but quality kit together to show on the channel. I could then give the kit away. I will mention it in an upcoming vid. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.

I used to go top of the line but haven’t in a long time. A long time being over 50 years. I like challenges so I’ve challenged my self by going surplus and thrift stores. I t saves money but also makes me think. Can I make it work? Can I repurpose it into something else useful? If it’s used or old I’ll give it a go.

Egg flipper! Bleedin' dots! Danger of dangly bits in public! This is my sort of bushcraft! That's a serious amount of good kit packed into a brilliant rucksack (out of my price range tho). I also adhere to the "two is one and one is none" mentality and leaving items out is more of a problem for me than putting stuff in. It's a skill, but everyone has their own idea of what is necessary. Great video. Take care, Eddie.

Hey there Edwin hope you are winning sir. I remember my first kit like it was yesterday bud 😂 Home made twig stove and lynx can stove a kickers back pack and any flannel shirt I could find in a charity shop that looked remotely outdoorsy. The most expensive gear I owned was a pair of Timberland boots and a leatherman surge! I made so questionable choices when I started getting good gear! Alot of which was on the never never or I went into debt for! 😂

Cool collection of kit. I rarely stay out over night. I go on hikes but I carry a tarp and extras just in case. Ive got a kindling maker... Im sure they are still available, tho they are likely to be plastic now. Its like a small cheese grater or those things women shave the dead skin off their feet. Except this thing is all metal. I got it 40+ years ago from the scout shop. Find a dead branch, scrape the tool over it and it collects the shavings. It fits nice in my pocket or hand and holds a lot of shavings for starting fires. Dead useful. but I still have a tin with cotton balls socked in petroleum jelly. Ive got a home made clip together firebox. (ex girlfriends brother made it for me from 3mm stainless) Cant beat a 4m x 4m Unigear tarp.... Im 6'4. 3x3 just doesnt cut it. My other half gets that coffee, she swears by it. My skin was crawling with that wool blanket. Im horrendously allergic to anything with wool content.

😄 🤣 I love the foot scraper Tinder tool idea! This is pretty much all I take out now, excluding a few bits I have now swapped out. It's good for a week or more if I add enough food resources. 4x4 is a great size tarp for pretty much anything. 6,4! Bloody hell! I don't like the scratchy army wool, but this is soft and warm. Thanks for stopping by.

I enjoyed watching this video. I like seeing a good load out. Personally I like the Emberlit FireAnt stove. It’s smaller than yours but I like it. And I might carry a Trangia stove to use in it. I’m not partial to compressed gas stoves. I’ve been building kits since +/- 1983 when I got out of the Corps. Back then we just called it camping 😉 Anyway, you got my subscription. Look forward to watching more videos. 👍🏼👍🏼

Hey there buddy is that the titanium version also? The biggest benefit of that type of stove is it's ultimate flat pack packing ability. It is probably a fantastic performer too! My only gripe with them stoves is having to piece it together manually. I know it's not a big deal, I just find flicking out a stove for use is much more convenient.
