When I was a kid and spent the night with my grandparents, every morning at breakfast my grandma would read from a similar daily devotional book called the Upper Room. I still hear her voice reading it aloud to us as we sat at her table eating breakfast together. It is a special memory I have and it brings a tear to my eye as I remember it since they have both passed and I am now raising my family in their old house.

When trolling lakers, using the plug and pop gear will work fine. You can just troll the plug by itself and it’ll work, I’ve found sometimes they don’t strike with the pop gear on. Typically just a large plug. Your speed might be a little too quick. Trolling around 1.3-1.7mph typically works for me. In that big of a boat it might be tough to get that speed but you can drag a bucket to slow your speed. Lakers are some of the funnest fish to catch!

What he did wrong was bring Chris. I just found this channel & this is my 1st series but from day 1 of the trip I knew Chris was a mistake. Slept in the cabin like a big baby.
