Thanks so much for this solo version. I often have to practice by myself and it’s good to have this as an option. If you ever visit Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, you are invited to my tea room. ❤

I’ve been learning tea ceremony for 2 years in Japan and I just started 炉の濃茶点前. It’s hard to find men’s version so this helps a lot! Thank you!

Thank you. I recommend you look at the videos not makred live or Solo Tea as they contain more deviation from the standard. For Hakobi Koicha Ro I recommend this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6a9qqiffcSIrpo

Taiko fusuma, that is fusuma with white paper on both side, are opened different than regular fusuma. This is too be able to push it flush with the wall, while regular fusuma you have to stop earlier to have somewhere to hold when closing it later.

Yes, it is the type of chasen normally used for the tomo tea in kinindate kio tsugu. It is kind of funny, in the past dark bamboo was cheap, but today it is more expensive than white. Maybe we should change it around for kinin kio tsugu so the Kinin gets the expensive chasen and the tomo the cheaper one? Anyway, I'm using it because I'm all out of normal chasen, and Zuiun has taken forever to send my latest shipment with new chasen and other things.
