Loved this video! The loneliness that comes with vanlife is so real, and it’s something people often overlook when they glamorize the nomadic lifestyle we all admire. I remember my first year living in a van, it was a tough transition from the routines of "normal" society to long, quiet weeks alone with my thoughts. But over time, I learned to embrace solitude and discovered that being alone doesn’t always mean feeling lonely.

This has to be one of my favorite videos that you made. I can’t wait until you make a video about finding God and of course finding true love. Nico you weren’t alone God was always with you. There are so many van meet ups where you could connect with people. There are dozens of Facebook groups, which is probably a better place to connect with people than Instagram. Head down to Southern Arizona for the winter around Quartzsite there will be tons of meetups around there. One other thought-I heard you say several times “no one talked to me” in this place or that place. Are you initiating conversation with other people? When you’re alone and want to connect with others, you have to work hard.

Car living really sucked. Even RV living sucked, you don't have a drain that goes straight to a sewer like a house and you have to find a way to dump all the nasty waste and it cost money to dump waste too...And, you have to find a way to fill up the water supply tank in your RV too and it ain't free if you don't own a home and mainly lives in an RV

Growing up, it becomes lonely. Everyone has jobs and children and they are too busy to think about you. And it really sucks when your making $2k a week and then you get laid off and your old friends feel like they don't want to mess with you because you used to make $2k a week and now you don't make that much and they feel like they want you to suffer because you shoulda saved more money when you were working. Mainly their jealous you get so much in unemployment and severance. You gotta find things to love and appreciate about yourself when your alone. I lived in a tent for 2 years in the woods and wouldn't talk to people for months and I actually like the solitude. It's just that I've come to a point in my life where I hate always being around people. People are selfish. They won't come around unless your doing something for them. Whether that's money, entertainment, attention, sex, food, van tour or whatever. If you truly hate being alone you need to go get a wife and have children. But you won't have as much freedom.

Traveling is great but being by yourself all the time wears. We're social creatures. Poor dude. Liked your sharing of your feelings. I'd go off traveling but I don't really want to do it alone so I quit traveling. Finding someone to travel with seems very difficult unless you find a retiree. The main problem is you are an extrovert, but you live like an introvert. Play to your strengths; not your weaknesses. Your old videos about your Tesla work experience prove that; you're outgoing, talkative, communicative, etc. But you live like a nomad or train hobo in a car. YOU need people; not everyone does but it's clear YOU do. I'd get off that road and stop the solo YouTubing if I were you. Figure out a way to bring others into your 'video career' and you'll see an improvement in your mood and situation.

You can explore and not have to live in your car, I do it all the time and stay in comfortable hotels. What you’re doing is being extremely cheap, I personally don’t get it. Why would anyone want to sleep in their car, in random streets and parking lots if you don’t have to? Really looks like you made yourself suffer just to save a few bucks. And why do you keep sulking in the whole Tesla lay off? Dude, you really need to move on and find your own identity, they sure don’t care or remember you, find something new and be your own person, we weren’t meant to live for work. I work to live, I don’t live to work.
