Solo ToA Expert WR!

Been going for this for a while. After a run several days ago where I was just 3s off WR, and coulda had it if I was 99 mining, I decided to go hard at Volcanic Mine to get 99 mining. Late into a Volc Mine session, I'm about to go to bed, and here comes Gnomonkey, down by the lake, on the 4th of July, with a massive raid straight from Santa Fe. My Canadian Patriotism couldn't let me end right there, so I send 1 cheeky no reset ToA WR attempt for the boys, and we actually get it on that 1 run, which is why I'm freaking out so much at the end.
This run had an absolutely tragicly slow Zebak, Kephri was just alright, and monkey waves + baba were just good as well not amazing or anything, mostly just the puzzles, Akkha, and Warden made this run so fast. For reference my fastest Akkha is sub 2, but I've only had 1 or 2 of those.
I will probably send more attempts of these for fun in the future, to push the time lower, tho I kinda wanna try and snag solo entry WR, as the strats in that one are kinda nutty.

Oh wow, like 12 hours after I get the WR, someone seems to have beaten the Overall time, but not the challenge time, so it's like, half record now lmao. ToA Solo WR been undefeated since December, and suddenly 2 ppl beat it on the same day like 7 months later lmao.

Bro I just got the staff! At like 105 normals kc and 50 expert kc. I have to get used to it im so excited I Can’t sleep or play right lol. Congratulations! Genuinely curious, do you know how the math works out on Voidwaker vs. Fang in monkey path? I figured it would make more sense to use the Voidwaker, since you lose fewer ticks, but I'm too dumb to take the Fang's passive into account for the sake of calculations.

Hey, so it's hard to always take advantage of the voidwakers ticks without losing ticks transitioning, and fang has a higher chance to 1-shot monkeys over voidwaker, so I tend to prefer fang for consistency on that end, too many times I've noodled like 3+ voidwaker hits on a monkey, whereas fang guaranteed to take at most 2 hits to kill the high hp ones.

Technically if I had my best ever zebak on this run, it woulda been just barely off of sub 18, and kephri was just like average time so kephri coulda been faster, monkey waves + baba was barely fast enough for what I normally run so that can easily be faster too. So sub 18 for sure doable, just insane rng.

dude im running 400s and its taking me like 45-50min on average with max mage and crystal/bowfa idk what im doing wrong i need to seriously speed it up ive done over 350kc my melee is bandos fang voidwake bgs d dagger. still need to do a 500 for the kit i need to be doing 500s its the same effort as 400 my issue is im not good with doubel trouble so overly draining/dehydration is holding me back from 500s

I click use instead of quick-use on the teleport thing, and then when the menu pops up I press 1, and then click to attack kephri, all in the same tick but I think the order does matter that you press 1 and then click to attack kephri if it's like other places that have this mechanic.
