I started solo travelling in 2019,the kurdish region at the top of the list of places i wanted to visit.i decided to checkout a local market known as. Grand bazzar ,there are tons if markets ,and the people are nice,more fun in the kurdistan . Slemani, also known as Sulaymaniyah, is a historical city located in Iraqi Kurdistan. It is the second-largest city in the region and is known for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. The city has a long and storied past, with archaeological evidence suggesting that it has been inhabited for over 8,000 years. This makes Slemani one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Its strategic location on the ancient Silk Road has contributed to its historical importance, as it served as a vital trading hub between the east and west.
One of the main attractions in Slemani is the Azadi Square, the heart of the city. This bustling square is surrounded by shops, cafes, and historical buildings, making it a vibrant and lively place to visit. The city is also home to several museums, such as the Slemani Museum, which houses a vast collection of artifacts representing the region's rich history and culture. Additionally, Slemani is famous for its traditional bazaars, where visitors can immerse themselves in the local atmosphere, browse through a wide range of goods, and try delicious Kurdish cuisine.
For those interested in exploring the natural beauty surrounding Slemani, the city is nestled amidst stunning mountain ranges. The nearby Ahmad Awa and Halgurd-Sakran National Parks offer breathtaking landscapes, hiking trails, and opportunities for outdoor activities such as camping and picnicking. شهر سلیمانیه در اقلیم کردستان قرار دارد و دومین شهر بزرگ در اقلیم‌م کردستان است و به عروس شهرهای اقلیم‌ کردستان و به شهر فرهنگ و ادبیات معروف است بازار قدیم شهر سلیمانیه بازاری پر جنب و‌جوش و فعال است که میتوانید خرید کنید با مردم محلی معاشرت داشته باشید ‎سلیمانیه یکی از شهرهای مهم و زیبای کردستان عراق است و به عنوان یکی از شهرهای مهم این منطقه شناخته می‌شود. این شهر دارای تاریخ و فرهنگ غنی است و جاذبه‌های گردشگری منحصر به فردی دارد که زائران و گردشگران را به خود جذب می‌کند.
‎یکی از جاذبه‌های مهم سلیمانیه، موزهٔ کوردستان است که در قلب شهر واقع شده است. این موزه با نمایشگاه‌های متنوعی از تاریخ، فرهنگ و هنر کردستان، زائران را به دنیایی از آثار باارزش و تاریخی می‌برد. همچنین، بازار قدیمی سلیمانیه با فروش محصولات محلی و صنایع دستی متنوع، به عنوان یک مکان خرید جذاب شناخته می‌شود.
‎علاوه بر این، طبیعت زیبای سلیمانیه نیز از جاذبه‌های دیدنی این شهر محسوب می‌شود. کوهستان‌ها، دره‌ها و دریاچه‌های دیدنی، زائران و گردشگران را به طبیعت آرامش‌بخش این منطقه می‌برند. سلیمانیه با ترکیبی از تاریخ، فرهنگ و طبیعت زیبا، تجربه‌ای بی‌نظیر را برای بازدیدکنندگان فراهم می‌کند.
