Very cool places! I have to admit that despite having been to Japan 18 times (and #19 is coming up in just 3 weeks...), I've seen very little of Chiba. I've been to Narita city during a long transfer at the airport (highly recommended indeed!), and a few times to events at Makuhari Messe, but that's about it. Even when I new of most of these places, somehow I never really considered going there. But this surely is good inspiration for future trips, and especially Nokogiri (and that cafe!) looks amazing

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and interesting video. I heard that there are 47 prefectures in Japan, and each prefecture has different unique attractions such as sightseeing and food. The north and the south seem to be very different countries, with different climates, different foods, and different people. My friend who loves Japan has made it her life's goal to visit all of Japan's prefectures, and it looks like she is halfway there. She says that the charm of Japan lies in places that are not well known to tourists. And what we can say in common is that no matter where we go, the safety and cleanliness, the sincerity and kindness of the people, which are unique to Japan, remain the same. So you said that even if you are a woman traveling alone, you can relax and enjoy your trip without having to be nervous all the time. Oh, I also pointed out that everywhere you go there are natural hot springs and 7-Eleven and Lawson lol. I want to visit as many wonderful unknown places in Japan as possible too.

Chiba looks really pretty amazing. A complete contrast to the busy streets of Tokyo. Chill looking place. Mt Nokogiri looks awesome, with the way the structures are cut. Looks like something out of a sci-fi film. Picture it at night, with xenomorphs running about haha, very Aliens. Next trip over there, I’m going to add this to the list. Great upload!

First lived in Japan as a resident back in the 70's then traveled back and forth for business a number of times a year between living there again for yet another extended number of years and yet other than attending various conferences in Chiba I never thought there would be a single reason to spend any leisure time there. This video with your select experiences has charged me to put Chiba down as a priority for some devoted off time leasure on my next trip. Thank you.

:-) I saw the title and I thought, “could she mean Chiba?” :-) Early 2015 I went there to watch JEF United, the biggest local football team, play at home (lovely experience), and I remember the adorable lady at the information center right below the closest (to the stadium) Monorail station, looking something in between “super surprised” and “in pleasant disbelief” to see A) a foreigner :-), B) a football tourist :-):-). Very-very-very well-shot video, the images, the sound, the editing, obviously the content, all very-very good. Many bonus points for the practical info in the end of the video. New subscriber.

I learned about the Cape Futtsu observation deck (Meiji Centennial Observation Tower) because a Japanese metal band did a KZbin music video there. ("Revive" by Nemophila). Every prefecture has something interesting, though I admit, one could spend a lifetime just exploring Tokyo.

Beautiful video! We took our 3rd grade class to Mt Nokogiri and Tateyama for their ensoku and we all did the massive climb. The views were insane and you’ve captured them perfectly! Unfortunately, at the time we climbed, it was during leech season so a lot of our kids got bit.😱 Thank you for another video gem!

Oh no! I didn’t know that they even had leeches up there 🫣 Good to know! Haha
@Kim.Bandit.Sinbad6 ай бұрын
@@CurrentlyHannah We didn't either! They were tiny skinny red worm-like creatures (called ヒル in Japanese) and they stuck out of the rocks so somehow they attached to socks and hands when kids touched the rocks. Apparently the kids didn't feel any pain, but other kids would notice blood on their arms or legs! We went in June and I guess the leeches come out during rainy season or right after it rains. Eeeks! Cheers to fun adventures!

Just popping back to this video to say thanks to this video we've just done a day trip to Nokogiriyama from Tokyo, and it was amazing! Took the ropeway up to avoid some of the climb and had such a fun afternoon walking through the temple grounds and then down to Hota train station through the rice and veggie patches. Would recommend to anyone who can handle the stairs!

@@CurrentlyHannah Oh sorry, I didn't mean to suggest the places were not attractive!! Bad word choice. I assumed the places were all spread out and difficult to chain together logistically. Since you managed to visit all of them in 3 days just using public transport without using a car, it might be workable.
