Lots of hate in here but just wanted to let you know that this shows how up front and real you are. Takes some nuts to post a video like this. Love your channel brotha! Wish you a great rest of the season!

Public land in a nutshell, here in SC you’ve got to get in at 4:00 to get your spot then 10 minutes before shooting light someone sets up right on top of you.

I only hunt public land in eastern Washington i go out late on purpose, find out where the other hunters are already at. I get as far away from other hunters as possible. I kill just as many ducks as when i got up at dark oclock

What waders do you have on in this?
@tombishop80834 күн бұрын
hehehe, as a former refuge hunter I had to laugh when you showed up late to your spot and were aced out. Then you shoot a hen spoontang and a water swat teal. Welcome to public land hunting! Whitey is still laughing.
@ColeTownsendThe4 күн бұрын
Lol whitey and I shot a limit of ducks and a limit of geese the day after this on public land. There’s plenty of good spots. I was just bored and the real was flying for the record! Thanks for watching!

Public land turned out to be a little more difficult than you figured? Makes you appreciate all that private land. Let’s see a public land mallard hunt…

Lol I love public land. Went to scout it out and filmed it. Shot a limit of mallards the next day. I appreciate all waterfowl hunting for the record.
@ThePewLife4 күн бұрын
@ I know you do. I wasn’t being condescending. Just saying public land isn’t what it used to be. Kids are sleeping at the gates the night before
@ColeTownsendThe4 күн бұрын
@@ThePewLife oh okay! Typically I just go in to public spots around 9:30-10am when all the kids leave before the mallards come back.
@ThePewLife4 күн бұрын
@ I’m gonna try that some this second split. Louisiana (NE LA) doesn’t have a bunch of public/WMA, and I’m getting tired of fighting with 20 year olds. You gonna post the public mallard hunt soon? Waiting for my TCT mallard call to come in ;)

You got nothing to prove to anyone on duck hunting. Hunting in Canada isn’t like falling off a log. Canada may be different than hunting state managed public hunting, but it’s still freaking work. If you had to hunt public hunting, you’d figure it out soon enough and hammer em.
@ColeTownsendThe3 күн бұрын
Absolutely agree. It’s the same as far as scouting and work involved. I love the challenge of public hunting. It’s a nice change for me. I wish I had more time to do it!

@ColeTownsendThe4 күн бұрын
Was just there to scout it out mainly. Shot a limit the next day! Lmao
@bakervinci16322 сағат бұрын
Why would you leave your gun when you retrieve a duck? You did not disrespect the shoveler like most, but you kinda belittled it. What is the closest duck relative to a shoveler ? You will be surprised. Quit watching other hunters. 600 yards is very safe
@bakervinci16321 сағат бұрын
If the duck runs, or the wind changes, you can reposition. Get a dog. You’ll never hunt with others again.
@bakervinci16321 сағат бұрын
I don’t know what time it was when you quit, but sometimes we don’t go until 11-12. You gotta scout You seem to be a good shot
